Feliway is a synthetic copy of the feline facial pheromone, used by cats to mark their territory as safe and secure. By mimicking the cat’s natural facial pheromones, Feliway creates a state of familiarity and security in the cat's local environment. As a result, Feliway can be used to help comfort and reassure cats while they cope with a challenging situation and help prevent or reduce the stress caused by a change in their environment.

Includes diffuser and one refill for the plug-in diffuser, each refill lasts up to 30 days
Diffuser covers up to 700 sq. feet
Prongs on diffuser can be rotated to accommodate horizontal outlets.
Analogue of Feline Facial Pheromone: 2%. Exipients to: 100g
Diffusers should be placed where the cat spends the most time. If you are considering this product for a cat peeing outside the box, you can also place the diffuser in the room where the cat is urine spraying most often.
FELIWAY® Diffuser should be used for at least 30 days. Most behaviors will show improvement within 7 days, including peeing outside the box and scratching furniture. Depending on the behavior, you may need to continue using the FELIWAY® diffuser longer than 30 days.
When choosing a plug for the FELIWAY® diffuser, make sure there is nothing above the outlet that will obstruct the airflow and diffusion of the pheromone. It should not be placed under a cabinet, behind a couch, or near an open window.
Refills will last up to 30 days but some variations may occur depending on air flow and ambient temperature within the room.
One diffuser will cover up to 700 sq ft in an open floor plan. The diffuser will not diffuse pheromone outside of any given room though. Given the size, floor plan, and where your cats spend the most time, you should consider getting more than one diffuser.
Diffuser heads should be replaced every 6 months.
Newly plugged in diffuser units may have a slight odor for the first 24 hours, but it may last up to 72 hours. Pheromone diffusers are made of self-extinguishing plastic and comply with the International Electro-technical commission (IEC), European (EN) and UL required standards.
Our cat got diagnosed with anxiety and we put him on vet suggested meds but we were having trouble getting him to take them daily. Seemed like we were adding more stress by chasing him to give him the meds. The vet assistant suggested anti stress collars and we tried it but that was a huge fail. Then we came across the diffuser. I had really high hopes it would work. Today is 2 weeks of use without his meds and he’s slapping anyone that looks in his direction. I’ll continue using this until it’s empty and maybe something will change. Unfortunately I think we will have to go back to meds.
YES! Great Product when Experiencing Change

We recently introduced a puppy into our home. Before adding the feliway diffusers, my two cats were stressed out, hissing, and fighting. After adding these to the home, my cats and puppy are getting along so well. Yes, we do still have the occasional swat, but overall these diffusers are great! They completely changed the way my cats behaved towards the puppy. I highly recommend Feliway if your cat is experiencing a change in environment or meeting a new furry friend.
Perfect Product, Poor Design

Feliway would have received 5 stars from me if it weren’t for the incredibly cheap construction of the diffuser. The facial pheromone formula itself has worked absolute miracles for my shy, recently adopted cat (we’re coming to the end of our first month together).
I knew when I chose Princess that she was going to need lots of patience and time to warm up, I just didn’t expect stressful medical problems to pop up immediately and throw a wrench in our bonding process. Her first week home I had to administer antibiotics by mouth for a gum infection (oh she LOVED that!), and the second week she got a dental cleaning and 7 teeth extractions. Her first week home I had to administer antibiotics by mouth for a gum infection (oh she LOVED that!), and the second week she got a dental cleaning and 7 teeth extractions. She was constantly hiding/running from me and wasn’t eating. My vet suggested Feliway and I saw results within a couple of days.
Two weeks after her cleaning, she spends most nights next to me as I’m reading for lots of scratches and seems less skittish. She still doesn’t love loud sounds or sudden movements, but then who does? She’s eating good, hearty meals and just seems like a totally different cat. It’s probably true that these changes are also influenced by the fact that she’s feeling better physically after her cleaning, but I really do think the pheromones are helping. I’m so relieved.
Here’s my beef with the Feliway brand....for the price, I shouldn’t be having issues like the diffuser wobbling loose in the socket or the liquid collecting on the outside to the point that it could harm my cat if she licked it. Maybe I didn’t screw the bottle in tight enough, and I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt this time. If liquid continues to leak out like this with my next shipment, though, I’m not going to be cool with that.… more

We can't live without this, it keeps Hailey very calm. The only thing I don't like is that you can't buy just the diffuser that needs to be replace every 3 to 4 months without having to buy the starter kit. I order the refill 6 at a time because I need one for upstairs and downstairs. It just doesn't make any sense not to be able to purchase just the diffuser. But we love it.

I noticed my kitty had become aggressive, meaning when playing; tearing up my hand/arm (drawing blood), after going through some environmental changes. I decided to try this out and after plugging it in he hasn't scratched or bitten me. I am very happy I decided to try it out and plan on continue using it.
Didn't work for my situation
on Feb 25, 2021
I bought this to maybe reduce any anxiety my cat may be having that's keeping him from pooping on my floor next to his box instead of IN his box, which he just started. It didn't work. It's like it never phased him that I even plugged it in next to his box. He poops on pads now, which took some time to train him to do. Oh well - we gave it a shot.
Yikes, Started Melting

If I could give this product no stars, I would. I don’t usually write reviews but I’m beyond upset. We got this plug in to relieve stress with our cat before I deliver our newborn. We plugged it in for less than three hours and it started melting the plastic and emitting a plasticky, burnt smell. The plug in was so hot, we could barely touch it. I know it isn’t our outlet because we use that outlet every day with absolutely zero issues. I’m really bummed out because I heard such amazing things about this product but I’m terrified to use it. And for the price, I’m really upset about an unusable product.
Anyone else notice sneezing?
on Feb 16, 2021
I bought this because my cat had had some issues with marking outside of her litter boxes. I noticed after I plugged it in that she was sneezing sometimes and seemed congested. On the good side she hasn't marked since getting it. I am going to unplug it and see what happens with both marking and sneezing.

My cat has always been a big scratcher in stress. With a big move coming up & the purchase of brand new couches I knew I would need to find a solution that worked for us both. My vet referred me to Feliway. I purchased two and plugged one in in our living room and one in in our bedroom where he spends a lot of his time. I have had no scratching on our furniture for two months now and he seems like a much happier and more content cat. Nothing else has changed in his daily life other than a new place and the same active little kiddos! This product really works and is worth the price point! I love seeing my cat baby calm and happy.
Great cat product

This is the second cat we have used Feliway with. In both cases, our beloved cat had behavior issues and we were at our wits end when we ordered. The first cat like to pee on things. The behavior stopped about a week after we plugged in the Feliway. The second cat claws things besides his cat tower. We ordered Feliway after a year of trying to train him. His bad behavior has slowed way down. But I have also noticed that he has assumed an upbeat, relaxed attitude as well. He was an adult shelter cat "raised in a box." So this has been a break through for him.
