This turkey formula only contains 0.05% Of taurine! That is a very extremely deficiency amount!! Please tell me that is an incorrect percentage or not

This variety contains approximately 0.05% Taurine content on an as fed basis (0.22% on a dry matter basis). Per AAFCO recommendations, canned cat food needs to have 0.2% Taurine content on a dry matter basis to be considered a complete and balanced diet. This food is Formulated to meet the Nutritional Guidelines Established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages.

Where are the ingredients sourced?

FirstMate sources their lamb from New Zealand and Australia, their chicken from Canada and some from the USA and the fish from both Canada and fisheries around Peru. The balance of their grains comes from primarily Canada, and the vitamins and minerals from Canada and Europe. They do not source any ingredients from third world countries.

Great food (five stars), but damaged cans (0 stars)

I love this food, I have a cat with health conditions and missing teeth, she loves this and does well on it. Unfortunately, my last order had 5 damaged cans, and

I love this food, I have a cat with health conditions and missing teeth, she loves this and does well on it. Unfortunately, my last order had 5 damaged cans, and three were dented enough that I threw them out, concerned that it may have compromised quality/safety of the food. That is a huge loss of $$ at the price this food runs. I am willing to pay for good food, but not damaged product.

Lots of moisture it’s really good!

There’s a lot of moisture in it, my kitty got used to it and really likes it now, I can mix in some super foods like a very tiny pinch of turmeric powder, tiny pinch

There’s a lot of moisture in it, my kitty got used to it and really likes it now, I can mix in some super foods like a very tiny pinch of turmeric powder, tiny pinch of chopped parsley for chlorophyll and a little tiny smudge of fresh minced garlic along with his dental supplements with it because of the moisture and savory aroma. He’s on his 5th can and going good so far. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive, everything healthy is un affordable. I don’t know that I’ll be able to purchase another case.

Made my kitty’s coats so soft and shiny!

My kitties have been eating this every day for a little over a month now and I’ve seen a noticeable difference in their coats. They are silky smooth and so shiny

My black tabby suffers from bouts of dandruff and it has literally disappeared. I also love that this comes in bigger cans so it lasts longer.

Good ingredients and fair price.

Puzzled???

The stuff is moist and smells good It was vet recommended and seems pretty wholesome but for whatever reason my 4 cats won't eat it I have been taking small portions
