Can you use this product on couches and beds as well?
Answer by ChewyNov 17, 2017
This product can be used on beds and couches.

How long should I wait to let my cats in the room or on the furniture after application? Can this be used on furniture? Is it dangerous for cats? How should I apply it? And lastly should I wear protection while applying (mask, eye protection, and gloves)?
Answer by ChewyJan 09, 2018
Children and pets can come in immediately after application. This product is made up of a fine, powdery, statically charged substance, Fleabusters Rx for Fleas Plus brushes into carpets and clings to carpet fibers. You can leave it under your sofas, in your vanities and kitchen cabinets.

Does this stuff have an expiration date? Does it lose its effectiveness with age???
Answer by ChewyMay 13, 2022
Fleabusters does not expire because there is nothing in it to expire. The product will always be effective as long as the powder remains the same consistency as when first purchased. It can’t be hardened up and clumpy.

Fleas have infested my cloths/linen closets and kitchen cabinets. Are you able to use this product in kitchen cabinets and on clothing.
Answer by ChewyJan 30, 2018
This product may be used in closets and cabinets. It should not, however, be exposed to food. Do not apply directly to clothing and make sure all dishes and cookware are washed thoroughly before being used.

Pretty Good

This does work, however, you need to be patient. You're also going to need A LOT of this! It's not easy to work with, either. You need to work it into the carpet. You also need to be sure you get ALL of the carpet. This means under furniture and at the baseboard. Then, you need to do your cloth/leather covered furniture. If you ignore the directions, this isn't going to work for you. It's only going to work in the areas in which it is located. Ignore your sofa and that's where your fleas will live. Fleas can live up to a year without food or water! They only spend 10% of their life on your pets. That's 90% of their life they are hopping all over your house breeding. Just because you have a door closed to a room and don't let pets in there doesn't mean you don't have fleas in there. You must treat EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE. This means beds, too, FYI. For tile/wood/laminate floors, you'll sprinkle it around on clean floors and sweep everywhere. Push some under the baseboard if you can. Expect to spend a lot of time doing this properly. Also, be sure to keep even indoor pets on flea meds for at least a year to keep down reinfestation.

Fleabusters

A little goes a long way - Sprinkle all area that are carpeted and also on rugs then brush over powder with a kitchen broom and leave it. I let mine sit for a few days. Almost immediately I didn’t see another flea. This is the best flea killing product you should buy it.

Did not kill much

After applying the product in all the carpet, we still had an average of 50 fleas jumping into the soapy water traps every night for over 2 weeks. The product did not help much...

Seems to do the job

As we are seniors, we really wanted to have someone take care of this for us. However, the Fleabusters company doesn't come to our area. It seems to work, but is pretty tedious to use. I like the fact that it is non-toxic

Fleabusters

I have known about boric acid powder because of the company Fleabusters for more than 30 years. I'm glad to see the usage in affordable containers

very good product

It's good to use it with another product, a spray. Powder first, spray after some time.

amazingly effective and non toxic

This works great. And it’s non toxic. It takes a few weeks to be flea free, as they have several cycles of life and this is so effective but you have to go through the phases. It’s cleared my house of fleas completely and then really lasts. There will be a few fleas over the first 6 weeks as new eggs hatch but they will die as they are dehydrated with this. Brilliant.

Works Well

I've used this product for perhaps 6 years now. Each container is good for 600 square feet and has been effective for about 11-13 months. It does not prevent all fleas who hop on you from getting on your pets. But it makes the flea problem occasional. Make sure it is brushed into carpets or rugs very well. I give it 3 days before vacuuming. Don't try storing it after opening it. Any humidity will cause it to clump and reduces its usefulness.

foster/rescue approved

The only thing that always works to keep the fleas at bay. As an animal foster who has tons of cats coming in and out of my home, I always am sure to treat my place annually. I don't even need flea treatment on my long-term fosters, since this stuff works better. Be sure to follow directions when you use it; a little goes a very long way!
