We used it to teach our cat the meaning of "go walk" - there was definitely a huge difference between before and after using it. We trained our cat for about a month on it, and now he understands immediately what "Go Walk" means. We do not push the button anymore and he gets it. We are now considering training him on other words. Highly recommended.

I've been patiently waiting for these to go on sale. I have a skittish schnauzer and a smaller dog that couldn't use the Hunger for Words buttons because they were too hard for them to press. These are perfectly small. They ignore the "outside" button but will occasionally hit the "Howl" button which prompts me to turn on their YouTube channel so they can bark and howl with the wolves. I'm slowly going to add another button to see if they can make a better connection, but I'm so proud in a few short weeks that they got curious and hit the button and understood it.

I just received the starter kit yesterday and recorded the first button. I had to re-record, bc it sounded muffled the first time. I re-recorded 4 times, and the button died. I probably pressed it around a dozen times total, so it wasn’t over used. But, thinking about how dogs are, mine will most likely press it multiple times before she’s let out (outside was the command). This is incredibly disappointing bc now I have return this kit and buy another. The buttons are also small. It’s good for cats and small dogs, but I feel that larger paws would mess it up, especially if the mat is filled with buttons. Multiple buttons might be pressed at the same time with these little buttons. I might try a different brand with bigger buttons.
