My cat likes these puzzle feeders, so I bought this one thinking it would up the challenge. I quickly realized that he wasn't accessing the center wheel. At first, I thought that he couldn't figure out how to move the large wheel; but now I think the wells are too deep and irritating his whiskers. Because even when I show him how to turn it, he won't eat out of the wells and tries to pull the treat out with his paws (which just pushes the wheel around). I can still use it, I just don't put food in those wells.
Our two siamese are learning the puzzle. I’ve mostly kept the kibbles visible Or partially visible so they get used to it. They seem to be interested in it. One uses her mouth to get the kibble, the other uses her paw. I’m glad I bought it so they have another mental activity. Recommend trying it for the first time with the kibble uncovered and when they’re hungry.
My two cats still enjoy moving the parts around to get at all of the treats. Although they have it all figured out, they are not bored with it. I do put it away from time to time so it doesn't get boring. They follow me around with trilling meows when I get it back out again. It's safe in dishwasher and has been sturdy.
This puzzle feeder is perfect for tiring Osiris out and keeping him occupied for a while. It took him several attempts to figure out the different steps, he still works hard on the circle! I love how many times you can mix it up and keep the puzzle fresh and engaging. Great product, definitely recommend for smart kitties.
I got this feeder for my puppy because the design was just TOO CUTE. Luckily, she LOVES it even though this was created for cats. It’s very well made and provided more mental and physical stimulation for my dog during meals. Highly recommend!!
Reggie liked the puzzle immediately since he is very food motivated but he very quickly figured it out and it takes him like 2 minutes to find an eat all the treats now. I need a waaaaaay more complicated puzzle for this guy. :p
Cats needed some brain teasers, they figured it out but it does slow the down when snacking. Circles are small so a bit hard to reach into but makes them work at the treats. I use it for dry food.
My kitty is very food oriented & very busy & constantly looking for new things to do. She gets excited searching for treats. For a short time it keeps her from raiding my kitchen cabinets.
This is a great activity for my curious cat. He gets most of the treats on his own but I give him some help with spinning the circle.
The rainy day puzzle is engaging and cute. It's not too hard, but not too easy. I use it at my office for my pup's breakfast. She loves it.
