She had to be tricked in a new way to eat this in a pill pocket. I’m guessing the flavor is terrible. My cat stopped eating her food when on this snd it made her very depressed. I had to take her to the vet to give her an appetite stimulant in order to eat and poop again. Made her anxiety worse.

Helped his anxiety a lot, but taste isn’t good. Luckily they can be dissolved

My cat didn’t like the taste of it AT ALL. we had to dissolve it and hide it in a bunch of churu and liquid treats. And if he tasted it at all, he immediately would refuse to eat the rest of it. We had to really really hide it to get him to eat it all. Made him real sleepy, but it helped his anxiety SO MUCH. we are going to the liquid dose to see if it’s better, but the actual medication does its job. Just takes time. If you have a picky cat, talk to your vet about the flavored liquid versions or the derma options.

My cat refuses this small pill.

We tried everything to get this tiny pill down our cat's throat. First forcing it into her mouth. That was next to impossible. Tried smashing it up into a fine powder

We tried everything to get this tiny pill down our cat's throat. First forcing it into her mouth. That was next to impossible. Tried smashing it up into a fine powder and mixing it in her food. She refused to eat! She would smell her food and walk away. Then we tried melting it in water and adding it to her food. Again she would not eat it. Then we tried a small bottle dropper with her melted pill using waterand then tried milk. She would not swallow. It was like torture to get this very tiny pill into her system.

So happy I don't have to cut human pills anymore!

For the first few months that my kitty was taking Fluoxetine 2.5mg, I was getting 10mg pills from Walgreens and cutting them into quarters myself, and it was SO HARD. Not only were they very small, but also oval shaped, which makes cutting into 4 equal pieces nearly impossible. Even though it was cheaper, it wasn't worth the stress of wondering if the dosage was even from one day to the next. This is SO MUCH BETTER!

Sometimes they don't split in half but crumble

I split these in half to save money. Recent batches have been firm enough to actually split, but I had a few batches where they just crumble in pieces. I have to

I split these in half to save money. Recent batches have been firm enough to actually split, but I had a few batches where they just crumble in pieces. I have to toss the pill in the back of his throat so he doesn't taste them. He starts smacking his lips and salivating if any get on his tongue so I assume it tastes foul.

They taste gross but they work

These are tiny like about a quarter of the size of an ibuprofen. They're compounded and have flavor that cats are supposed to like, but they must taste horrific

These are tiny like about a quarter of the size of an ibuprofen. They're compounded and have flavor that cats are supposed to like, but they must taste horrific because if my cats taste them at all, it's a big dramatic event where they're drooling, gagging, and vomiting. But I have a new foster cat that needs a lot of help in the behavior department and he was being mean to my 12-year-old crabby old lady cat. So I bought a pill administrator online and empty size 5 gelatin capsules. I put the dosage of Fluoxetine that they need into the capsule And I had to previously train them to be able to use the pill administrator with with a churu. So whenever the pill administrator comes out they're happy because they are getting favorite treat ever that they only get when they have their medicine. I am glad that I was able to figure out something that would help them enough to get along so that our house could be happy and not them fighting all the time or having a separate them because I'm in a 700 square foot apartment that does not allow for separation constantly!

Stopped by cat from constantly bullying his sister

This really helped my cat to stop trying to mount his sister. He was also chasing and attacking her constantly. She doesn't like to play like that. The Feliway plug-ins

I have no way to test if this is really chicken flavored or not. However, the cat gags and tries to vomit when I try and give this. I am using I’ll pockets just like I do with regular “human” pills. I thought this night me easier to give because they are smaller and “flavored”. Boy was I wrong. I will give the human pills, they are less expensive and don’t cause the visceral reaction.

The pills had no coating on them.

They would melt the minute I put in my cats mouth and had a terrible taste for which she salivated
