Is the base of this post weighted? My cat likes to really pull down/throw her weight into it when she's scratching and sometimes pulls them down completely.

Cute & Cheap

I got this for my kitten when she was still only 2 months old. She’s now 4 months old, and she’s a little too big for it. Nevertheless, she still uses it! The ball

I got this for my kitten when she was still only 2 months old. She’s now 4 months old, and she’s a little too big for it. Nevertheless, she still uses it! The ball kept her very entertained when she was younger, and she loved climbing to the top, especially as a stepping stone to my bed or whatever the post was placed near. She’s less entertained by the ball at this point, but she still climbs it. Mostly, she loves scratching her nails on it when she wakes up in the morning or when she’s bored. Overall, it was easy to put together. The material is decent, and the price is relatively cheap. Would definitely recommend because my kitty got a lot of good use out of it!

This kitty scratcher is sooo cute!! It’s definitely not for a full sized cat but it’s perfect for my 3 month old kitten. She hasn’t used it yet, but I’m sure she’ll warm up to it. The only reason I’m not leaving a 5 star review is because it didn’t come with instructions, though assembly was very easy and simple. Anyone who doesn’t have experience building things might have had a more difficult time. Overall I’m very satisfied :)
