This is a great puzzle with multiple levels of difficulty. It has entertained our Weimaraner and pug mix for several days. They are engaged and interested. Feeding time has become really interesting for them and we are enjoying watching. Both of them are mentally tired after using the feeder.
The Frisco advanced interactive dog toy puzzle is cute. I feel like it is great for some dogs, and maybe a little boring for others. It seemed to entertain my baby for a little bit but not as long as anticipated. I like the overall concept. I do wish there were larger hiding spots for different sized treats. I would still recommend this puzzle toy. The purpose is to entertain and challenge your dog. I think it does what it is meant to do.
Was looking for a more challenging toy because my dog, a husky, can get through a toy so fast and this one keep him entertained for fifteen minutes! Definitely get this if your dog is super smart. My other dog, the golden, had a harder time haha.
Great activity to do WITH your best friend. We used small bits of hot dog & our German shepherd puppy (8 mo.) was entertained & happy. He likes to be put to work & this little puzzle is holding up great to his energy level & "choppers." We give him this puzzle as a treat after his training exercise.
My 14 month old Bernadoodle went straight for half cups and was able to easily find her treats on the first try. She is approximately 60lbs now and has a very big snout so it wasn't easy for her to move the inner ring with her large snout and large paws but she ended up finding a way, which is the intent of the puzzle...right? Over she enjoyed the puzzle and got her mind thinking.
This is a nice item for our 3 dogs that kept them busy. The only problem is you have to give the dog's turns so having all 3 dogs in front of the puzzle. Is not the way to go so we gave each dog? Turns with snacks to figure out the puzzle and it works
I was excited to see a new, relatively affordable puzzle for my 1yo Aussiedoodle! He absolutely adores them and they keep him busy. However, this is just not it. The slots for the treats are way too small for the size of the puzzle. They’re only good for small training treats and definitely not conducive to a 55lb dog. The wheel in the middle doesn’t spin well and isn’t even big enough to allow the little circular pieces enough space to uncover the treat slots. I ended up taking a part of the wheel out but when you do that, the circular pieces obviously can come out completely. I’m definitely disappointed and guess I’ll be splurging on the legit puzzle brands!
My Shelby love this advanced 3 in 1 puzzle. She's getting very good at it. She loves to work her mind with these games and this Frisco brand is great. It's good quality. The little doors and the sliding of the blocks is great to challenge your pet. 5 stars
Happy dog. The day I received this Frisco 3-in-1 Interactive Puzzle Dog Toy I filed it with treats. I was worried, being that it was the advanced one and looked like it would be hard for him to figure out. That smart little dog figured it out right away. He did some of the puzzle right away, but other sections took him a while. He did figure the whole thing out that day though. It is a good toy to keep him occupied for some time.
The puzzle is a good size overall and the pieces and crevices are large enough for my Doberman to be able to move and get her nose into. We have several puzzles for bad weather days when we cant get outside and exercise much and this is a nice addition. I do question the advanced rating though because this was not tough for my dog at all. She had it completely figured out on her own and all treats enjoyed within a minute. I was expecting it to be more of a challenge.
