I sorted through so many cat trees; we needed one that would be a good perch for our feline family member to utilize as a window perch, a scratching area, and a snuggle zone, yet still not be too overbearing to take over our living room - I found this one, the Frisco40-in Faux Fur Cat Tree & Condo. It is the purrfect height and has the best amenities. It was so easy to assemble and it absolutely sturdy since our kitty jumps all over it playing and at times resting. The ONLY wish I have for this item is that the sisal posts were available for all the posts. The faux fur is soft and comfortable for our kitty, but it get stuck in his claws. I just wish that we could have the sisal posts to be the ONLY posts. I am actually looking into replacing all the posts with the sisal posts. Even if we can't, our kitty absolutely loves this cat tree - a definite winner.
I looked forever at reviews for cat trees to make sure they would fit our big girl while she’s on her weight loss journey and finally decided on this one after reading the reviews and I am thrilled with the sturdiness and quality so far! Our girl is 17 pounds and the tree doesn’t even wobble when she’s jumping on it. It has a nice wide base and I think that is what helps keep it so sturdy! Would recommend for larger kitties!
Cat loves soft material, condo on bottom with two entries, then platforms and alternating scratch post with furry post next and topped with bed. She's like a fast worm....in/out..up/down. Haha.
I was hesitant to order this based on other reviews, but it turned out great. We followed the instructions and everything lined up perfectly. It took us a moment to realize the center post is actually in the center and not off center as pictured. You have to go slow when feeding the screws in to the threads, but we had no problems. It fit perfectly where we wanted it. It is very sturdy, and looks great. Our four month old kitten loves it.
Received this on Sept 7th and all the cats loved it. Great height, nice sleeping spots, nice scratching poles and fits well in my living room but the fabric on the poles are already coming off and shedding. I will try glue it back but at 11 days old I wasn’t expecting to already have to repair it. Love the design but sad about the lack of durability.
My Ragdoll needed a cat condo that wasn’t too tall. She likes to hide in the box, and bat at our feet out of both holes in the bottom hiding place! Soft material, and many scratching posts for her. She’s happy!
I needed a simple cat tree for my 2 cats, I was scared to buy this one because it said it was for adult cats and sometimes it’ll say that but then it’s turns out to be for kittens. My cats love this thing, the condo on the bottom is huge! I got the cream colored one and it looks really nice.
I’m not 100% positive that this cat tree is supposed to be bad on level at the top. If I’m wrong I apologize but it certainly does not look like that in the photo from the website.
Unfortunately my cat doesn't use the condo except occasionally uses the scratching post. As you can see it's coming apart.
My cat loves his new cat tree. He would only get in the condo the first day and he added the first shelf on day two, day three he went to the top. Not for sure way but it took until day 6 for him to use the scratching post. He is on it a lot now.
