Can you wash the covers of the top 2 posts ?

The posts feature removable bedding can be machine washed separately in cold water on the gentle cycle. Please do not use bleach and tumble dry in low heat. For best results, hang them out to dry. For the rest of the cat tree, spot clean stains and vacuum fur (using small handheld or attachment) when necessary.

Does this need to be anchored to the wall?

Cat trees are tested to ensure standalone stability. A 30 millimeter dry wall anchor and wall anchor strap are provided as an option for additional stability.

Sturdy, Tall, Great for smaller spaces

Putting this together took a bit of time because inserting the poles into the condos wasn't easy, but once everything was finished, our cats took to it instantly

Putting this together took a bit of time because inserting the poles into the condos wasn't easy, but once everything was finished, our cats took to it instantly. They broke their previous tree by playing on it roughly, so I wanted to get one that was made out of thicker wood & much more durable. We've had this tree for almost a month now & it has withstood the intense play sessions of not one, but three chunky adult cats. We didn't even need to fasten it to the wall!! The ropes haven't shed yet, neither has the faux fur even though it does feel a bit cheap, & the condos are big enough to fit our biggest boy. Everyone is happy, & we are sticking to this brand for future cat furniture from now on!!

Assembly was fine, no issues. Quality is good for the price, but not great. It does the job providing a haven for cats. The one issue I have is that there is very little space for a cat to climb down from the third level to the second. My cat is young and mobile and very healthy so she can precariously stretch her body from the 3rd to second level if she wants, but most of the time she just jumps down from the third level which makes my knees hurt listening to it.

I was worried that my cats wouldn’t use the tree because they’re on the bigger side but after a few hours after it was out together they explored it and use it almost all day now! It was very easy to put together, seems very sturdy which was another thing I was worried about having 2 cats that are 20lbs. But I think it will last a long time! Very happy with this purchase!

Too Difficult To Assemble

It took my wife and I well over two hours to fully assemble this cat tree, mainly due to the poor instructions that don't give you an accurate picture of how assembly

It took my wife and I well over two hours to fully assemble this cat tree, mainly due to the poor instructions that don't give you an accurate picture of how assembly is done. It was also extremely hard at times to line up the posts with the drilled holes in the bases. If you aren't mechanically inclined or are short on patience, I'd consider having a professional build this for you and your cat(s). Otherwise, the cats are just starting to discover the cat tree, so we'll see how hat works out. Two stars for the difficulty we experienced.

I purchased this for my two cats. The assembly is very difficult. Nearly impossible to install th posts inside the top and bottom apartment boards due to extremely tight fit.and difficulty aligning the screw holes. This portion of the assembly took an hour plus and required application of many bandages to our hands. As far as functionality, the 3rd-level platform (with the square apartment) is too narrow for the cats to easilly access from either the 2nd level or ground level without slipping backwards and having to a "pull-up". The FAUX FUR wrapped hard-surface prevents the cats from getting secure footing (with claws). I would return if it wasn't impossible to disassemble and re-box for return. I do not recommend (my hands still hurt days later).

Some of the reviews mentioned difficulty putting it together but my husband and I were able to get it done in about 45 mins so didn’t think it was too bad. The hardest part was aligning the screws correctly when you can’t see around the fur lol. Height is good and seems as sturdy as pre built ones I’ve had in the past. My cat hopped into the upper nook shortly after we finished it and got it in place! Might not recommend for large cats but ours is a tiny (9 lb) gal so it’s huge for her :)

Overall, it’s a great cat tree. There was a little difficulty assembling the little enclosures, but once it’s together it’s solid. Our cat loves it and especially loves the upper most perch. The only thing I’d change is that there could be more sisal rope for clawing. We ordered more and are going to wrap the posts completely. I do recommend this cat tree.
