This is the second Frisco cat tree we've bought. The first one is a little taller, but it's held up well to three cats for several years. We needed another, shorter cat tree to replace a cat bed in a window, and we didn't hesitate to buy a second one. The cats are quite happy with it because they can hang out next to my desk and watch wildlife through the window while I work. The first two assembly steps were tricky, but once those were done, the rest was very easy. The cats enjoyed "helping" me put it together.
I just got one today. It was pretty easy to assemble. Everything I needed was in the package. It took me about an hour to put together and nothing was too heavy for this old lady to handle. I screwed the screws in as tight as I could and it feels very sturdy. I don’t think I’m going to need to anchor it to the wall. As you can see from the picture, one of our cats was in part of it even before I got it assembled. That’s an 8 month old kitten in the picture. I think they’re both going to be big cats, so we’ll see how it does as they grow. I didn’t not know yet how well it will last over time, but my initial impression is very good.
I have two cats: a 15-year-old female and a almost-3-year-old female. The older cat does not use it... yet. She's not afraid of it; I've placed her on a couple of levels and she sniffs it out but then climbs right back to the floor. I'm hoping she'll adjust to climbing on it and using it at some point. My younger cat, however, loves it! She loved it right out of the box. She took to one of the condos right away. Once I got it totally assembled, she started climbing up and resting on it, especially when I was in the same room. She loves keeping me company in her new condo! The best part? She also took right away to using the sisal posts for scratching! I've noticed her using the sisal often. That makes ME a happy camper! Less scratching up my carpet! The cat tree seems to be high quality and well-designed. It was fairly easy to assemble; completed it in about an hour. I consider this purchase to be well worth the money.
This works very well for my cat. No weird off odors, fairly easy to assemble. The top two tiers seem a little unstable but I just got it - time will tell. My cats favorite spot is the house with two entrances. That is where he spends most of his time. Takes his attention off of other furniture which was the goal.
This is a sturdy climber. I have a cat that falls a lot and this one has a solid base to keep it steady. Only down fall is there isn't a lot of side climbing for her to navigate to towers without it being by a window sill. Was an easy assemble too
This isn’t good for all cats. What I don’t like is that it doesn’t have a first level platform. The cat has to have the ability to jump from the floor to the 2nd level box and there’s not much room to do so. I use to have a tree with first level. I am going to have to look for that one again!
It took a couple days, but my cat loves this Cat Tree. The only problem I have had is that he has already scratched one of the flat surface covers which is pretty amazing since he just had his nails clipped. See attached picture.
We bought this cat tree because we have high-sitting windows and this tree sits high enough that my cat can sit on either of the perches and look out the window without crying to sit in the window ledge. We're also adding a kitten soon, so we hope they'll both get use of this. The two perches are a little wobbly when he jumps onto them, so I hope they will hold up. My only complaint would be I would love it if the screws were not visible because my cat keeps trying to grab at them. Otherwise, this tree is great.
This cat tree looked adorable on line, but it has several drawbacks. I have one large cat and one small one, and they've both struggled to get comfy on it. The major drawback is that the covering is a fuzzy type fabric instead of a nice thick carpeting, and the cats can't sink their claws into it. Yes, there's the sisal, but my kitties prefer carpeting.
Was super excited to build My new cat trees, that were damaged prior. The base has a huge crack in it and it's bent so the cat tree can't even stand properly. Super disappointed with this product. Do not recommend
