After owning this bed for a year, My dog absolutely loves her bed. The pictures are deceiving because it is not that tall . It is very fluffy and Baby Lilo can snuggle way down into it. Since she snores, I had hoped she would lay her head on the sides and it could help her snoring, but instead she curls up in the bottom. It would probably work if she was bigger. Overall, in spite of disliking the deceitful pictures, this is the only bed that has held up so well after a year of constant use and several washings. I will definitely buy again when she wears it out.
Fluffy bed for a fluffy cat
I wasn't sure if my cat would like this bef since he's never been a big fan of them and usually sleeps in his favorite designated spots around the house (e.g., top of the freezer, behind the couch on the heating vent, under my bed next to the heating vent, etc.). He likes being snuggled up in blankets though so I figured I'd give it a try and it took him all of 5 minutes (and a couple of self-induced jump scares) to realize this was now one of his top favorite spots to sleep. For a cat that is larger than the dog in the picture, this bed is an absolute win.
Nice new nest
Our little female border collie loves her new nest! She gets the bolstering she loves and, unlike a sofa bed, it cuddles her when she curls up. I deducted two stars for build quality — it’s certainly not well-built for the long-haul in terms of fabric, filling, or stitching. Of note, if you have a dog who’s a fan of plush toys, this bed may be too tempting. Our big border collie boy loves to sit in it too, but has been caught picking at it like he does his stuffed toys. Otherwise, as long as you understand it will have a limited lifespan, I still recommend this bed.
Cute and cozy
My dog loves this bed (and all beds honestly) but he sometimes chooses this bed over his beloved couch spot. We got the small and it's the perfect size for him. He's a thirteen pound mix of some sort and kind of long and he can lounge in it just fine. It's pretty cushy. It can get a little lopsided and needs fluffed up, but for the price, that's no problem. It slides a bit on hard wood.
Wonderful cat bed
I bought this bed for my large cat. Look who's in it! She loves it. My 17.5 lb. Miniature Poodle. I just ordered another cat bed (elevated)...for my cat.
I have two donut beds from a different brand, but at the time I needed a third, Frisco ended up being the best price (and color!). My golden puppy avoided his crate at all costs. I had added a donut bed to my other puppy’s crate and he started using hers exclusively. I bought this bed for his crate, and he’s finally starting to come around! My cat also lounges in it when he has the chance. (Photo of the bed with the cat is the other brand but they’re almost identical)
Squished and Dirty
We’ve had this bed for about 5 months. I initially loved it and so did Charlie. The light color looks dirty quickly. I’ve washed it twice and it just doesn’t stay clean for long. Prepping it to be washed was difficult, got my cardio for the day wrestling it apart. I do not think it will withstand a third wash. It looks fluffier after being washed but it is mostly a pancake the rest of the time. I wanted to spoil my 12 year old lab but Charlie is pretty much just laying on a thin shag rug at this point
Thin and uncomfy
I bought a calming bed (different brand) for my 30lb beagle/lab. He loves it to pieces I bought this one assuming it would be of the same quality based on reviews. It’s subpar. The cushion is so thin it serves little purpose. The pillowed rim also fails to hold any shape for him to prop his head. Returning is a pain, so I put a different bed inside this one.
He loves it, but it needs improvements
Overall this is a really nice bed and my Great Dane loves it! It's the perfect size and weight which makes it easy to move around when needed. The improvements needed are simply durability and longevity. The padding at the bottom is oddly shaped and normal wear and tear shifts it in odd ways that makes the bottom of the bed lumpy. It is also very difficult to smooth out the lumps. The other issue (biggest issues) is with the zipper that goes around the bottom (located in the inside seam of the bed) to hold the padding in place. The zipper is horrible quality and is already falling apart after less than 6 months. I've tried repairing it but considering the cost of the bed not to mention it's for a dog; I'd hope they would have used better quality zippers, and even placed it underneath the bed instead of inside.
LOVE this dog bed
I have a small male dog who loves to lift his leg on my big dog's bed (jealousy perhaps?) so a washable bed is a must. Although the website says that the large (which I have) and extra large beds have zippers and the care tag says to remove the cover before washing, I stuffed the whole bed into my large load capacity washer and washed it on the "bulky Items" setting. I figured it was safe to do since the smaller beds do not have to have covers removed before washing. The bed came out beautifully and I saved some time and effort by not having to remove the cover, which I love because I have to wash my big dog's bed frequently because of my bad small dog.
