Does this litter box have enough room for a 20 lb. cat to turn around in?

In general, it is recommended that your cat's litter box should be one-and-a-half times the length of your cat from tip of the nose to base of the tail. The dimensions of this litter box are (26 x 18.1 x 19.3 inches).

Is the door detachable? My cat likes the hooded box but not the swinging doors.

How high is the tray without the lid, from bottom to top of tray?

Without the hood, the height to the entrance of the tray is approximately 5 ½ inches. The height to the back of the tray is approximately 13 ¾ inches.

Are we able to order a replacement door? One of the knobs broke off. Not anything to do with the item just a dog that thinks it wants what’s inside.

We buy jumbo litter pans for many reasons. They give our furbabies room to move, thy offer much less waste as they keep the litter in the box where it belongs & they have more room to choose their spot. Of course the lid assists with these plus factors too. We highly recommend.

Could/should be much better

I have two large boys, so need a long and tall box. I also have one little girl, and need a box w/a low enough entrance so she doesn't have to always jump into it

I have two large boys, so need a long and tall box. I also have one little girl, and need a box w/a low enough entrance so she doesn't have to always jump into it. Unfortunately, the dimensions listed in the description aren't quite accurate - the box tapers so much at the bottom that you lose several inches just for the design & the entrance is higher than described. I like that it's so big, and I like that it's nice and tall, but it's very flimsy and I'm worried about it breaking almost immediately. There's also no handle on the lid, so lifting the lid off to scoop is a little bit awkward. Finally, the filter is attached in such a weird way that it doesn't stay on securely. So, I like the size overall, but the construction and description needs a lot of work

Tabs Broke Right Away. Terrible Litter Box...AMAZING Customer Service

BAD: The tabs that secure the top to the bottom broke off almost immediately from one of the holds. The box is large so can hold a lot of litter. The flimsy snaps

BAD: The tabs that secure the top to the bottom broke off almost immediately from one of the holds. The box is large so can hold a lot of litter. The flimsy snaps just can't hold the weight. Our box is under a table so we need to be able to lift it out from under it each time we scoop. After only 2 months all the latches are broken so we can no longer use it. Also, the filter doesn't have any way of securing in place so I just tossed it. GOOD: Nice large size for our bigger cat. The hood and door mean that litter stays in when our cat digs. VERY GOOD: I used the chat feature to request a refund. In moments they had refunded me for the defective litter box with no hassle. As a result of the customer service I will continue to be a Chewy customer. :o)

Cheaply Made Junk

The snaps to secure the lid to the bottom do not all work. The charcoal filter does not fit the opening, even if it's cut to fit, slots will not hold the filter

Pretty good for the money.

Both of our cats started using this litter box right away. The only problem is the latches do not hook securely to the bottom half of the box. I have to be careful

The reason I can’t give it five or even four stars is because the clips are extremely fragile and very precise to put on. They feel like they are already about to break in half. Additionally the door is great that it’s removable but it’s almost too easily removed as it comes off almost every time I take the top off

This litter box is the perfect size for my senior big guy. I’ve removed the top because my cat doesn’t like the enclosed box experience. The big size allows him to move and turn around around easily, the high back and sides keep the litter inside and the low front entrance provides easy access for his aging and arthritic body. Love the dark blue color too. Solid product, two paws up!
