The Frisco Interactive Wooden Cat Toy Box has been a blast for my cats and great entertainment for my hubby and me. lol Each one of our girls takes turn trying to get out the mice and balls hidden in the maze. The box is extremely sturdy and well made, not a like other cardboard boxes I have seen, no rough edges. I have added treats into the maze along with the toys to entice the girls to play as well. It is a great way to encourage them to play and reward them. I am thrilled with this toy box and would happily encourage others to try it.
The moment I placed this wooden toy down on the floor all of my cats became very interested. Both of my kittens and adult cats were very intrigued. They loved the toys that came with it.The size is great and material is nice and as shown in the photos my cats were very interested in this toy. The only issue I had was that they eventually lost interest once they figured out how to remove the toys from the holes. Once they figured that out they just played with the toys on the side losing interest in the empty box all together and now anything I put in there just gets removed quickly. I still think it's a good product my solution is to just keep refilling it with larger toys or balls its very easy to place them back in but if they're small and your not paying attention the toys will eventually get lost around the house and you'll just end up with an empty box unfortunately. I think this is a great toy regardless my cats still have not lost interest in this with the new toys compared to other types of toys I've gotten them.
I bought one of these about 8 years ago and loved it. The cats loved it and it's lasted because it was solid, substantial hard wood. The only reason I had to replace it is that one of my cats started peeing on it. I got the same one---but it's not at all the same. It's a crappy fake wood version that's smaller and thinner than the original and my cats aren't interested. Don't bother.
Wow I am so impressed with this cat toy box because I have gotten my cat all kinds of different toys in the past, and she's usually not all that into them but she absolutely loves this thing! All I had to do was sit her on it once and then reach down with my fingers to show her I was knocking something around in it and her mind started going crazy and she started going after every single toy inside it! She loves this thing! I will load the toys back in it and leave the room for a minute to do something, and when I come back the toys are scattered everywhere😁 My cat and I both highly recommend this Frisco interactive wooden cat toy box!!
Before I even got it out of the box, my cats were trying to jump on it. It's like they knew what was in there! They were all over it for hours. It was just as entertaining for me watching as it was for them playing. They spend a lot of time with it every day since I got it. It is a great interactive toy for cats of all ages and will probably even get older cats to be a little more active. We love this toy!
This is a really nice looking toy. I only gave it four stars because my adult cats didn’t show much interest until I put treats in it. I think a kitten would really enjoy it and definitely recommend getting it for a young cat who still shows interest in toys or that can more easily be convinced that playing with toys isn’t a waste of time. Either way I recommend putting treats in because it makes the cat work for them.
All of my cats (ages 5 months-13years) have been obsessed with this Frisco Interactive Wooden Cat Toy Box with Catnip. I knew my youngest would be interested, but I was pretty surprised that my oldest had any interest in it. Normally he prefers to nap on the couch, but I've caught him several times playing with the mice/balls. I'm constantly putting the plush toys back into the wooden box for them. The box, although not real wood, is of good construction and has stood up against the roughhousing my cats have put it through.
Ever since I brought this in the house, my adult kitty has turned into a kitten. Every time she walks past it, she stops by to play for at least a couple of minutes… I love the wood design, the smooth material, no sharp edges and plenty of wack-a-mole holes as my husband calls them to play in.
I got the Frisco Interactive Wooden Cat Toy Box and am so glad I did. My cat's curiosity got the best of her. It comes with 2 plush mice and 2 plush balls, all of which are filled with catnip. Once she gets them out, I put it away for a few days and when I get it out, she plays with it as if it was new again.
I showed it to my kitten, dropped in one of the balls, and she pushed it out in 30 SECONDS! I dropped in a treat and she pushed that out in 45 SECONDS. Now I put a few balls and treats in and she loves to look in the hole and push things around to figure out how to get the treat out.
