Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. My daughter told me about this liter and we’ve both been using it for a couple of years now. Low on dust and tracking and has a good fresh scent. It’s the only liter I use.
I thought this would be great but not so great. I cleaned the box, added the litter and both of my cats would not use it after one try. I had a second litter box with another product and this is one they used. It also had an unpleasant odor. I then began to blend it with my other litter to use it up. The odor got worse and the cats began to have accidents outside the box. Maybe some folks have had success with this product but I didn't.
We were using another grass brand and decided to try this one because it was a little cheaper. Just on opening it I love the very light scent that it has... I'm wary of anything scented because I'm sensitive to it. But this was great. Clumps and scoops great, the cats love it, a week later still smells fresh scooping once to twice a day... Not dusty, easy to sweep what they kick out. Three cats, three boxes, but of course they all have the same favorite one... Cats are gonna cat.
I accidentally purchased scented litter. I am very sensitive to any scent so I was immediately disappointed. BUT...it is actually quite light! AND really didn't linger. Also with 5 cats and multiple boxes always smell something. Much less noticeable. Definitely buying again!
I've tried quite a few different types of litter for the Litter Robot, this one seems to be the best for clumping and ease of cleaning. The clay litter just turns to cement, the crystal litter also gets too hard. This one still forms little balls that have to be knocked down, but I at least don't need a putty knife. This still tracks out of the box, I have yet to find a good clumping non-tracking litter.
Was using the regular unscented litter but from now on I’d be mixing it with the scented one
I was really hoping this was gonna be worth it. But not even a week into it and already have used more than half of it. I think that this being so fine and such tight clumping makes it go so fast. I have never gone through litter so fast. And for the price it is way too expensive for this. I will just go back to grocery store brand. I know it doesn't go as fast. And does the same thing. And I know how to pack it where I don't hurt myself. Chewy just let me and my kitties down with this one.
I chose grass as a safer option than corn litter high in pesticide, but it tuned out to be sorghum which is also heavily sprayed with pesticide that I do not want my cats licking off their paws everyday. It spreads worse than any litter I have ever used. The wet litter turns into a kind of cement. I can't even get rid of the unused litter in my flower beds or compost pile because of the pesticide. I've had nothing but trouble with frisco products and will never buy a frisco product again.
This clumps really well and is a natural litter that decomposes well. It does track a lot but I prefer the natural litter to the clay.
I really like this literally! Came in a HUGE bit lightweight bag. I add baking soda to my litter, I feel like it’s a great alternative. I’d almost compare it to the Arm&Hammer Hardball.
