I have a 60lb hyper Staffordshire terrier and an 8olb senior lab mix. They both enjoy squeaking the toy and playing tug of war with me or each other from time to time. My Staffie is the kind of dog that chews on sticks, however, she loves this toy and likes for me to play fetch with it or tug. I highly recommend this toy as it's lasting and seems to make my dogs happy.
I rescued my girl and chose this toy a month after getting her. She loved it for tug of War! She's a 17 lb girl who doesn't destroy toys. It lasted almost 2 years! We started inside then as time went on it became "stinky monkey" and we were only allowed to tug outside because we shared it with our bigger dog friends who drool a lot more! Highly recommend as the rope quality was fantastic for dogs who are not destroyers.
My golden puppy had this for months and loves to play no give backs. It held up for so long until he finally chewed thru to the squeaker. However since there is no cotton filling can still use for playing even once ripped open (although I did decide to order a new one)
Cody loves his monkey tug. He can pull and pull on it and it doesn't break. The furry monkey part covers the rope which also keeps him safe! His humans will definitely buy him more monkey tugs
We have a litter of boxer pups and the toys that their mother plays with are too tough for them so we stocked up on a couple of toys that we thought they would like. Bingo! They really enjoy playing with this and I'm confident that it will hold up to their little teeth for at least a few weeks, until they're ready for something tougher.
If a toy lasts more than a day or two before it's ripped to shreds by my heavy chewer, it's a pretty good toy. And this one in spite of its price has lasted a week and is still going. Yes, the rope has twisted and the stuffing's been pulled out, but it is still useable as a tug and retreival toy. He likes it!
My dog chewed through the "rope" in the first day or two. The rope is made of strings that just shredded as my dog chewed on it. This looked like it would be a great toy for playing tug-of-war with, and it was destroyed almost immediately.
My little cockapoo within an hr had the rope on this toy torn apart. It is really adorable and my grandpup which is a German shepherd loved the one I got him also. But his is still together.
Hattie Rose loves her monkey. We bought her first one several years back, and she's getting a new one for Christmas. It's lasted and worn well, but looking a little bedraggelled after several years of constant play. Well made, excellent price.
I have a 1 year old teacup yorkie that I brought the toy for. When I took her toys out they all looked a little too big for her but she been playing with her monkey since she got it. She haven’t found out how to squeeze it to make it squeak but she loves it. She barks at me to squeak it for her, gotta love my Bella Dior.
