About Frisco Elevated Pet Beds
A Throne of Their Own
With Frisco's Elevated Pet Bed, your pup will be living the life of luxury in a bed fit for royalty. It's a comfy, cool spot for him to rest his paws after a long day of tail chasing, spirited barking, and fetching anything and everything for his owner. Whether it's dozing off in the backyard, curling up inside by the couch or hanging out on the porch, furry family members can do it all in the comfort of their very own throne.
Strong and Durable Design
Frisco's Cot-Style Bed features a solid design from top to bottom. The powder-coated steel frame helps keep the bed stable and safely elevated. And the PVC-coated, fabric sleeping surface supports your pet without sagging—even after long-term use. This cover is replaceable and comes in several earthy tones. To keep the bed from sliding when your dog jumps on or off, it's equipped with skid-resistant feet for better stability.
House Nappers and Outdoor Loungers
Wherever you go, your pet wants to go. Which is great, because the Frisco Elevated Pet Bed is easy to assemble and break down for transport. You can set it up next to your favorite arm chair, take it on camping trips, or let your sidekick sprawl out poolside. This versatile bed stays grounded no matter where you place it, and the non-porous surface can be wiped clean after being outdoors.
Staying Clean and Cool
Beds that sit on the ground are vulnerable to dirt and don't allow pets to cool down. The Frisco Elevated Pet Bed lifts your doggy pal off of wet, muddy grass to keep him clean and cool, especially on rainy or hot days. That's good news for dogs with thick fur that tend to get overheated. Air can flow right through the fabric, so your pet will be feeling the breeze (or chilling in the AC).
Elevated for Comfort
Keeping your pet off hard floors and rough outdoor surfaces can ease the stress on your trusty tail wagger's joints, especially in his golden years. Instead of lying down on an uncomfortable hardwood or cement floors that can cause calluses, he'll rest easy on his comfy snoozing spot. And because it sits inches above the ground, it's easier for older pets to hop on or off.
Sized to Perfection
Frisco's quality products are made for and by a family of pet lovers. And they're more than just everyday pet supplies. Crates become comforting kingdoms, potty pads transform into a favorite patch of grass, and potty bags give the signal that it's time to take care of business. From comfy mats and cat trees to potty time essentials, Frisco provides practical solutions for today's devoted pet parents. The entire Frisco line is available exclusively at Chewy.com!
Arrived rapidly, very easy to put together. Our two dogs want to like this but seem uncertain. Both our BC and Goldendoodle pups will crawl up on it and stay a while to gnaw on a treat or toy. But, they don't seem to want to sleep on it or stay for longer periods of time. I wonder about their comfort. Have put a small comforter on it, and it helps, but it always falls off...the same with a cozier dog bed. Our Goldendoodle is now 7 months old, and she seems happier with it than our BC does. It provides more space as she gets older and larger. We'll see if it is a more successful outdoor hangout bed. Looks like it will keep them off wet grass and muddy areas while they bask in the sun, seems likely. Our Border Collie loves to chill outside for long periods of time, so this use would be helpful. Oh, one odd thing--in the house on a hardwood floor, dust collects under it like a personal wall-to-wall carpet. Makes you keep right up on cleaning floors. Ha!
My dog usually doesn’t like dog beds and we haven’t had much success with them in the past. However, we decided to give an elevated cot bed for her and OMG she loves it !!! She was a little nervous at first but very quickly curled up and napped the afternoon away. She’s got all her toys scatted around her new favorite spot ! I also really like that it’s very sturdy and could easily be taken outside for even more fun. Definitely would recommend for any pup !
This is the second bed I purchased from Chewy at the advice of your staff. Both times I called in and explained I needed a bed for a German Shepherd/Alaskan Husky that was teething. I spoke at length both times with your consultants regarding a bed the puppy could not chew through. The first bed was destroyed within the first few weeks. I called in and spoke to another staff member who suggested the Frisco bed. He gave a credit for the first bed and placed my order for the Frisco bed. The bed was delivered on April 29th and in less than a month my puppy has chewed a good portion of the mat off of the frame. Please note on both call your consultants we very pleasant and professional. My fear is that the mesh fabric and paint on the metal frame could be harmful to puppies. The bed itself is ideal for large dogs just not while they're teething and chewing. Is there anyway I can get a replacement mat to put on the frame to use when my pup stops chewing? In the meantime, is there a bed that is chew proof?
We bought these for use outdoors. They look like Coolaroos so I thought they'd BE like Coolaroos BUT - the weave on the surface is so tight that water won't drain through and there's a puddle on the bed when it rains. That's slightly disappointing since the plan was to use the elevated bed to keep the K&H Comfy N Dry waterproof bed off the ground so the dog doesn't stay damp, but it's a sturdy bed for a great price. Recommend!
Easy to put together and our dog ( and cat!) Seem to like it. Haven't had long enough to know how durable it will be. We got the medium and our dog is about 40 lbs with short legs/stocky body and it fits her great.
I have owned the same one for many years and this pup decided to eat the fabric. Had to return replacement fabric bc it did not fit. New whole bed and less then a week and the fabric is starting to stretch and come apart where the metal frame runs through it. Dog is under 50 pounds and doesn't jump on the bed.
Simple to assemble, love having a pop-of color, and my dog enjoys it! It is taking her a second to get use to the stretch of the mesh (aka not a firm surface) but we ordered her a Medium for our 41lb full grown wire terrier mix.
We bought this for our 65 pound pit bull, because she is getting older and I thought being up off the hardwood floors would be more comfortable for her. But she seems to be very unsure about lying on something without the sense of the floor beneath her. Whenever she is out of it, the cat very happily makes sure it does not get ignored. He thinks it should be his.
The feet of the bed frame come with now rubber caps or any other way to prevent the bed from sliding around on any type of hard floor (i.e hardwood floor, tile, etc). Otherwise the bed seems fine and would probably work for outdoor use or on a carpet.
I got a larger size for my new pup to grow into. He absolutely loves this bed. It took him a few minutes to figure out that it was for him. After that he loves it. It was easy to assemble as well.
