I love this toy but my dogs don't! They don't want to come anywhere near it. I sat down on the ground and tried to play with them with just the bungee part. I convinced one dog to finally play with it that way. When the other dog saw her stretch it out and let it snap back he stayed far away! Maybe I'll have to keep trying to get them used to it.

This toy was recommended to me by a therapy dog trainer. We adopted a puppy and brought him into a house with a 6 year old dog. The puppy often annnoyed our older dog and wanted to play in a way that our older dog was not interested in. Our puppy was immediately interested in this toy and wanted to chase the tail. It took a while for me to get the hang of it so that he didn’t jump and leap so much which is not safe for a growing puppy. My technique is to drag it on the ground and run with it and whip it back and forth and turn circles with it. It’s important to let the dog catch the tail consistently so they don’t get frustrated. I think this would be an excellent toy for a fit pet owner who is nimble and can run and play with their dog as this is how the toy is utilized best I think. I am older in my 60s and it’s a challenge for me. I use this toy when I need to burn off some of my puppy’s energy when he seems bored and hyper. I can see how this toy could lead to injury of both dog and owner if not used properly. Our older dog had zero interest in this toy.

This seems well built with a strong/somewhat stretchy rope and thick fabric on the lure. My cattle dog is deaf but still likes chomping on the squeakies when she catches it. It typically takes her some time to get interested in toys but this one was an immediate hit. It is fun to observe her athleticism with it, and it probably helps her aerobic fitness for running.

Flirt pole is great

My dog immediately knew what to do & wanted outside multiple times to play. Hoping this helps to manage some of her small prey drive.

Great outdoor toy

The length of the pole made it easy for me to stand in one place and give plenty of space for my pup to chase. No more getting dizzy turning in a circle to keep

Works like MAGIC

Shiloh enjoys this more than any other toy we’ve purchased! I have to hide it from him because if he sees it, he gets excited.

Best way to give your dog some fun and exercise

We love this product particularly for indoor play when the weather is bad. My dog loves it and makes us laugh when we use it

Game Changer!

My dog absolutely loves this toy! And it can tire her out in about 10-20 minutes. She has a ton of energy and is always so excited to play with this! Highly rec

Fun and great exercise for dogs - also great for training

My 2 pit bull/Australian shepherd girls LOVE this! Both of them grab the lure at the same time and run around me in circles, then play tug-of-war with each other

My 2 pit bull/Australian shepherd girls LOVE this! Both of them grab the lure at the same time and run around me in circles, then play tug-of-war with each other. Used this to teach 'drop it' and 'leave it' commands. Great exercise for them with little exertion from me (age 72), satisfies the prey drive/hunt instinct.

Dang thing costs $30 and it's made of plastic

$30 for a pole toy and it's made of hard plastic - they couldn't even spare the money for a metal pole. 5 minutes in and it already looks beat up...
