It works by converting the natural prey drive instinct in canine companions into exercise as they try to catch a lure by sprinting, changing direction and jumping. This paw-ticular toy is made in the USA with parts that are tested for strength, durability and light weight. This Lure Dog Toy is uniquely and intelligently designed with a bungee cord to help prevent whiplash when the lure is caught, ensuring your dog's safety is top priority. You can also easily change the lures without having to use fasteners, so you don't have to worry about potentially injuring your pet’s mouth. What's really great is that the Flirt Pole with the included lure only weighs less than one pound! Plus, the soft, non-slip grip and wrist strap allows for easy handling every single time.

Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it's always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off. Not recommended for chew sessions.
It is recommended to briefly walk your dog both before and after using a flirt pole to help prevent muscle strains. Let your dog briefly catch the lure every few minutes and give them praise when they catch it, but then ask them to release the lure and start over.

If you have a high energy dog this is the toy for you, I have never had any toy wear out my pups as much as this one does. It's got a nice weight to the handle and the rope is like a bungee cord which makes it fun for my pup when he tries to steal it away. Def worth every penny
Bodie is our adorable 3 month old Mini Aussie Doodle but he LOVES to bite at our ankles when he's playing and especially when he's getting overly tired. He also loves to jump on me while I'm cooking meals. This flirt pole is a life saver. The pole allows him to grab and run after something else while keeping him at a distance. It is very well made and sturdy (though it is not made for a chew toy or to use for a strong game of tug of war.) It's also come in handy for teaching him to "DROP"
We already had a larger flirt pile that we use for outdoor play but I wanted something for those rainy days to get my puppy worn out. This works perfectly indoors in our living room. Puppy loves the squeakers in the ends. My 4yo dog loves it as well. Sometimes they’ll both grab on at the same time and play tug. Seems strong enough to withstand 2 dogs tugging on it! Highly recommended
My lab mix loves this toy! Its a great way to get in extra exercise when he is going to be home all day while i am at work. We do a short walk then use the flirt pole and then a short cool down walk and he is set for the day.
I accidently bumped the pole against a wall which made a noise, so my dog was then a little afraid of it. Its a good toy, but as the instructions say, make sure you have plenty of room.
My dog took some time to get used to this because he was intimidated by the pole but it didn’t take him long to learn to love it. The pole part was honestly much larger than I expected but I didn’t read that part of the listing and it’s not really a complaint.
My cattle dog needs a flirt pole to get her energy out and to fulfill her herding instincts. This to helps with that! Hope it lasts long!
My dog gets very excited when I take the Flirt Pole out of the closet. She runs and jumps after it. It tires her out, or at least it tires me out, in a short amount of time. I have high value treats available to get her to give up the lure, once she has caught it. Also, you want to have a large out door area available to play in so that your dog doesn't run into barriers or curbs. It's definitely my dog's favorite toy!
This is my 2nd flirt pole for my pit bull and he loves it. It's much better than the ones that screw together in the middle and the squeakers in the lure make it far more enjoyable for him. I can wear out my dog on days it's too hot to walk him. We do small sessions and go inside and cool down, keeping him from being antsy but not burning his little feet. He didn't take to fetch and is not consistent about tug but boy does he love his flirt pole.
My dog loved it but the elastic cord broke after 3 plays and the fabric ends were shredded. I only allowed her to chew on it only during play time.
