Bratty Cats

This is built very well. But we're always taking a chance with our fur babies when buying them ANYTHING. This was one of those things. Even spreading catnip in it didn't amuse them. BUT when I put it under a rocker, in MY BEDROOM, Tyger started scratching and clawing it. I've even caught him laying in it for a minute. Lol

An upgrade from the flat box!

Our mom used to buy us the flat rectangle scratches. After much debate- she decided to get us this. WE LOVE IT! We can sleep and be contained as well as get our scratch on. Don't even get us started about when she sprinkles the cat nip on it! It's super sturdy and we can't wait to get more!

This looks to me like the perfect box but my cats are undecided. Carolyn scratches in it, but doesn't sleep in it. I caught Sara napping in it once, but she never scratches it. It's a good price for a sturdy scratcher box.

I unboxed this scratcher for my kitty, and it was Christmas in July. She loves the ample space to scratch and loaf. I love the enclosed bottom that keeps the catnip from littering the floor. This scratcher is non-refillable but for the low price, I won't complain.

My 2 cats treat this like a chew toy, I know not why. They chew up the cardboard and make it into tiny bits. They love it but it's not like the long one they lie down in and sleep in. This one gets treated like a toy.

Dual purpose bed and scratcher

As the ancient cat wisdom goes, 'if I fits, I sits' and that's what my cats have decided. It's just a little too small for both of them, especially my chubby 13-pounder, but they insist on laying in it anyway. I wish it were just a little longer so they could more easily stretch out their paws to scratch while they're in it. They still do, it's just a little bit of a tight fit. Regardless, it's been a big hit in our house.

I got this one because the incline scratcher I normally get, which the cats love, was out of stock. They like this one, too. They scratch away and the smaller cat naps in it as well. A bit small for my larger cat to lay in tho.

I purchased this for my one cat back in may, but now I have 4 and as soon as the other 3 saw it they couldn’t stay away from it! I need to order more. The cardboard gets ripped up really fast

My cats love these! Good size, and the cardboard is sturdy. This was my second time purchasing this scratcher/bed. I would love if they offered a replacement for the cardboard inside the box as well, after it gets all scratched up.

cat isn't overly interested

I thought my cat would love this. She was very interested in it when I first got it. She climbed into it and scratched and laid in it - though she is a large cat of 16 pounds and she has to kind of wad herself up. She loves this type of scratcher. I have the plain old refill ones that are about 7 x 18 inches and I just place a couple of those strategically in the living room and she leaves the furniture alone. I'll try moving the step-in one to a different spot and see if that helps. But in the future, I'll just buy the refills as above as she prefers those.
