What are the outer and sleeping area dimensions of the jumbo and large?

The Large bed measures 36 inches long x 27 inches wide x 3 inches high. It has a sleeping surface of 29 x 23 inches. The Jumbo bed measures 44 inches long x 35 inches wide x 4 inches high. It has a sleeping surface of 40 x 31 inches.

Is the zipper on the long side of the bed to make things easy or the short side to make taking the cover off/on difficult?

This is the 4th time I have purchased this exact product. It comes in three pieces. The foam that the dog actually lies on top of, the back of the couch part that goes around the cushion on top and the cover. The top back arm rest is filled with what looks like pieces of the foam ripped up into pieces and didn’t expand well a is very lumpy and bulky. All three of the others were filled with a different filling that is soft and expanded to fill full arm rest. Very dissatisfied with the quality of arm rest. Will not be buying another. Do not recommend this product. First two pictures are new arm rest. Last two pictures are what it is supposed to be filled with.

I ordered a bed 2 years ago with orthopedic foam as stated on the details just like of this one and it was great for my large dog. I just received our new bed and we get a little over 1 inch egg crate foam that no dog should use. It is like laying on the floor. Will not purchase another dog bed from this company. Chewy should not sell this product!

This is a well made, comfy bed for my Sealyham Terrier. She weighs 20 pounds and it fits her pretty well, but since she likes to stretch out, I should have purchased the large size instead of the medium. As long as she lays her head on the bolster, it will still fit her, but a large would have been better. Still a very nice bed and I'm pleased with the purchase.

It seems like every dog bed on here could get the terrible one or could get the one that's described... So I took the leap and bought this bed and it arrived exactly as described. It came all one piece in the vacuum seal, I let it sit for a day it's a good firmness so my dog doesn't fall when he turns around and around to lay, but soft and nice for support on his older body. Jumbo plus was an excellent choice for him as he is 80lbs

Horrible egg crate padding

I had bought two of these from Chewy a year or two ago and liked them so when there was a sale now I purchased another one because the ones I have are wearing out

I had bought two of these from Chewy a year or two ago and liked them so when there was a sale now I purchased another one because the ones I have are wearing out. It arrived and the egg crate part was thick and good on the right side but the left side was flat. The bolsters were the same flat material and not round like before. Chewy sent me a replacement and it came today. The bolsters were the round stuffed ones like I had, but this was the sorriest excuse for an egg crate I ever saw. In the middle on the left side was some rise in the egg crate, but it was essentially half of the height of any I ever had. Flat. So flat it would not fill out the cover which was loose because the filling just is not there. Be prepared if you want this, to measure and order a real egg crate for the bed part, as what came with it is a joke.

This item was packaged wrong. We had but the jumbo bed and were so happy with the quality. When it was time for a new one, we knew we wanted the same thing. The quality is absolutely horrendous compared to what we got before. Not worth the price! The bed is just your basic egg crate and the stuffing for the sides was just shredded up. Such bad quality for an item we once bragged about all the time. So disappointing.

Yellow staining, mold deflated squished side wall

The foam insert and side wall were recieved with massive yellow staining, the side wall was crumbling when unzipped to look at what was causing yellow discoloration

The bed was not jumbo by any means. I would call it large if anything. I have a 90 pound dog and 105 pound dog and this bed is much smaller than our other beds by far. The other problem is the bolster. I let it sit out of the package for 24 hours since it was compressed. Even after sitting out 24 hours it is still flat. I shook it thinking it might need “help” expanding,it just fell apart. I don’t think I will purchase anything from Fur Haven again or buy a bed online again. Very disappointed.
