I have a pretty tall bed and several of our cats like hanging out or sleeping on it. All 5 of our cats are able to jump up onto and down off of my bed but our 2 heavier cats (Shadow - 22lbs/ Abby - 15lbs), and our senior cat (Simba - 12 years old) seem uncomfortable doing so. I ordered the 4 step stairs and within 2 days it was delivered at my front door. Upon opening the box I noticed everything was nicely labeled and there were clear instructions for assembly. It took me about 10 minutes to put it all together (me taking my time and talking to the cats during assembly). No need for any tools, an Allen head tool is included. Everything went together smoothly and I’m very happy with the overall quality of this product. Immediately after assembly I vacuumed off the carpet surface of the stairs and placed them next to my bed. It appears they will work perfectly for me and my cats.

I bought this for my elder kitty, who can no longer jump on the bed. It took her less than 24 hours to find and use it, and decide that she loves it! My younger, more agile kitties love it also. It is very easy to put together, and seems to be very sturdy. This would work very well for small dogs also.

Easy-peasy to put together! I bought one so my aging cat (sorry, Jenny, but you are!) could more readily hop up to the bathroom counter where I feed her (away from the dogs). After assembly, while I was cleaning, I left it in the hallway--and she used it to climb up to a shelf she'd never explored before. So I bought her another one that I will relocate from time to time to give her some stimulation. Inexpensive, very sturdy, and Jenny gives it two claws up!

The stairs look nice and sturdy but she is afraid to use them. I think it’s because the stairs are too wide and overhang above each tread. She just can’t manage it. She is a medium sized dog and she is having problems jumping up on my bed because of a lame right front paw.

I like these stairs, but my dogs do not. I cannot get them to use it. They readily use smaller sets of stairs I have in my house for getting up on the sofa or a window perch, but I can’t get them to use these, yet. I’m not giving up, as I continue to try training them with treats and gently putting them on the stairs. I’ve repositioned the stair four different ways, and they still shake when I put them on them. So I’m disappointed, but I don’t think the stairs are constructed poorly. My dogs just don’t like them.

Had to buy these because my older cat is having mobility issues. I have another set of these with sisal posts, which get used a lot. These are all carpet, which works well in the room they are in. These are quick to assemble and the cats use them readily. a good value IMO.

I ordered a new mattress and did not realize that it was 14 inches thick. My poor cat who is my unofficial emotional support kitty could not get up on the bed. This absolutely wrecked me as i chronic pain and spend 50% of my life in bed and she rarely leaves my side. I ordered these stairs the day after my mattress arrived and thankfully they came super quick. She seemed to know right away that they were for her and has been using them ever since! I put them together by myself and without issue. Also, i have hardwood floor and was worried they would slide away from the bed, but that has not happened at all! Its so cute seeing her walk up her little steps to get into bed with me! I am very happy with this purchase :-)

These are way to steep and hard to climb for my elderly dog. I would return these but taking it apart and packing it back up seems like more trouble then it's worth. So I guess I will keep it. I wouldn't recommend these for old dogs in my opinion they are too steep, the width is too skinny, if they mis step while climbing and/or try to turn around they will fall off the side. Very little room for error when the dog is climbing. My poor dog fell off of these and hit the ground pretty hard. Only my cats seem to like these, but they don't even need them really. No I have to buy different ones that will work for my poor Lil old lady dog.
