The stair unit is very nice, well built, very easy to assemble. We ordered it for an older cat to help it get onto gramma's bed. Unfortunately our cat passed and never used it. This is more a great review for CHEWY pet supply. I asked CHEWY if we could return it for a refund because cat passed and never used it. They replied quickly with a very kind note, said a refund has been applied and to donate the ramp to a local charity. Very cool.
I have an 11 year old cat with hip and spine issues and arthritis. He is the only one who cant jump on our bed. He was really hesitant to use it. I had a feeling the 3rd step was throwing him off. I removed it and now he uses it like a champ! This checks almost all the boxes: can fit next to our bed, good size, good price point, cat uses it. I wish the construction was a little heavier but it would cost more so the price point is accurate. For under $40 I thought there wasn't much to lose to see if my cat would use steps. Now he gets in bed without scratching the side and screaming for help. Very happy cat mom and vet tech.
I ordered these steps for my 22+ lb kitty who can no longer jump up on his bed to look out the window for birdies and wildlife. My big boy quickly figured these out and now can get back into his bed to look out the window. These steps went together easily and were more sturdy than I even expected, especially for the amazing price! The material is nice and soft but not too slippery. I would think these steps could accommodate a much larger pet as well. I would highly recommend these steps.
My 14 year old cat seems to like this set of stairs (3 steps) much better than the other set I got. He uses it when I’m asleep - I often find him up on the couch, watching the sunrise. He’s so much happier now that he isn’t dependent on me to pick him up. :D
My boyfriend and I just adopted two kittens and our bed is over 30” off the ground so we knew that we would need something to help them get up and down without having to jump all the time. We could NOT find anything tall enough checked a few pet stores near us and checked online and it was all too short. Then we found these stairs just under 30” it was perfect and we were honestly just hoping that the quality was okay but it’s amazing! The stairs are super sturdy and they do exactly what you’d expect them to! Plus the kittens love to run through the posts and play on the stairs even when they aren’t using them. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking for easy to put together and sturdy stairs for a pet to get in and out of bed.
I have 3 cats but one that is elderly and could not get up on the counter to eat. (My cats eat on the kitchen counter so the dog doesn’t eat their food). I showed her the stairs and she immediately walked up with no hesitation. The height is perfect for the kitchen counter.
I purchased the three step unit, however, it's configurable to a variety of steps and final heights based on which size supports are used with which platforms. My older cat likes it and the youngest cat likes it too.
I have a tall bed and had a hard time finding steps for my aging dog. These were perfect. Especially because I was going to have surgery and couldn't lift my dog on to my bed. This solved the problem beautifully.
We got this for our two elderly cats to get up on the couch easier, and all three actually love it. They like to sleep on the larger platform, and the youngest likes to use it to attack her brothers. I like that the height and layout are adjustable.
Easy to put together and the tall one reaches the level of our high bed. Cat was confused by it at first, but now she uses it every time she wants to get up on the bed.
