This is actually the second one of these I have bought. Had the first one for 4-5 years and it was still in great condition, but my decor colors changed, lol. I kept waiting for it to wear out, but finally had to order a new one without that justification. Having had numerous cheap dog beds fall apart over the years, I was very impressed by this bed's durability. Both the cover and the foam insert held up well to years of daily use. Better yet, my dog loves it. He likes the gentle slope of the ends, and the fact that he can change position and still have a head rest.
When we received this bed in the mail I was not expecting it to be so comfortable. I am glad that we got this, Our puppy especially likes the fact that the sides are raised and he can lay his head there. Chevy sleeps in bed with us but he has beds around the house for when we are doing chores or just hanging out and this is the best one yet.
This bed is very firm and uncomfortable, even for me to sit on! My dog won't have anything to do with it. I regret throwing out her old worn one. I can't even coax her into staying on it with food. The only thing I do really like is the size. I have the XL and it's perfect for my 95 lb Labrador. She could stretch out on it
This bed is perfect for our big girl! No weird smell, no need to let it unfold and fluff up. Shipping was fast! Ordered on a Monday received on Wednesday the same week. Ellie is an 11 y/o lab mix. She weighs roughly 75 pounds. We got the jumbo size, but if she were any bigger, I’d get the next size up.
We have tried many different dog beds and styles for our girl without success. (She's a picky GSD.) This one she fell in love with instantly. She has her own pillow built in on the sides and the orthopedic mattress gives almost the same support as our bed upstairs, which is her preference at night of course. During the day she loves to lounge on this one and watch as we sit and work. 4 PAWS UP!
My Great Dane loves this bed, he fits with plenty of space that my pointer also joins him on the bed. Its thick enough he has plenty of padding for his old body which was my main concern buying this bed. Hes also a nester and has not torn up the liner. I will probably buy another because my other dogs try to steal his bed now. Highly recommend for XL dogs.
I've been buying dog beds from Chewy for several years now. I have large dogs and buy the Jumbo size, which obviously costs more. Very disappointed! Not even close to the size of my other beds. I thought for sure I got a smaller bed by mistake, but no, the label clearly said Jumbo. So I assume they are reducing the sizes but same labeling.
My 70lb golden really has started to love this bed! At first he was hesitant with the raised sides, but has started to sleep on it consistently. It was easy to get out, fluffed up quickly and is a sturdy quality. The only downside is there is no resistance on the bottom so it slides on a hardwood floor. Otherwise, great bed!
Got this for my aging dog to help take some pressure off his joints when lying down on the hardwood. It is high quality, thick foam with a very soft cover on it - which is also removable and washable. It exceeded expectations and would compare it to a memory foam material. Now, getting him to use it is another story, but nothing a few T-R-E-A-T-S can't handle. Very happy with my purchase.
The bed doesnt have two sides that fold up so the dog can rest his head. Only one side. The other side is completely flat with no extra foam for a headrest, just extra bedding slack, like they are supposed to be extra thickness there. I would like either a replacement, or a full return.
