How can this be organic with tocopherols in it?

Mixed tocopherols are a natural preservative used in pet food to slow down spoilage. Tocopherols are a family of vitamin E compounds naturally found in vegetable oils, nuts, fish and leafy green vegetables.

Petcurean dry pet foods are produced in Ontario, Canada. When it comes to ingredient sourcing, you can rest assured that the animal source proteins, grains, cereals, fruits and vegetables in the GO! SOLUTIONS, NOW FRESH, and GATHER recipes are sourced from North America (as close to the production facility as possible). The manufacturer's primary suppliers are based in Canada, however, due to some limits on availability, they have some USA based ingredient suppliers. Also, the venison and pasture raised lamb is sourced from New Zealand and Australia.

What is 9% ash????

Ash is what's left over after the food is completely cooked (incinerated). This means that protein, fat will burn first leaving trace minerals behind (i,e: calcium, phosphorus, zinc, iron, etc.).

My 2 cats seem to really like this. I wanted to try it since it has 3 good ingredients for cats with urinary issues, which on 2 occasions one of my cats had (cranberry, vit c and Dl-Methionine). What I didn't expect was that my other cat that doesn't have a lot of teeth left, has an easier time eating this kibble in one sitting because of the small kibble size.

The only dry food for cats that feature "organic chicken"! Love that it's also the first ingredient. The $$ spent feeding your cats the best food available is a fraction of the vet bills spent on kitties that don't thrive and feel unwell cause they're eating substandard food. This is a brand that will be a regular part of my kitties menu for their entire lives (in addition to feeding them Evenger's organic wet cat food, also available through Chewy. Their ingredients also feature organic meats and veggies...my kitties love the turkey w/butternut squash best).
