We adopted Jackie with Lymes disease back in 2019. He would get flare ups in his joints and be down for the count for days at a time. We started adding Omegease to his food twice a day along with a glucosamine chondrointin supplement and he hasn’t had any joint issues for over 2 years now. We give it to all our dogs and it also keeps their coats shiny & soft
We ordered this for our two 12+ year old cats as they were dealing with some dry skin issues. It definitely helped with the dry skin and improved their coat quality. We had no issues with vomiting or diarrhea, but one of the cats started having small seizures recently - once a week or so but then rapidly it turned into a daily occurrence. We took her to the vet, they ran blood tests, everything was normal. A few days later we could tell she just didn't really want to eat the food with the oil in it, so we stopped giving it to her completely. several day later we realized that she had not had a seizure since we stopped giving her the oil, and she has not since (it's been several weeks now without one). I cannot help but draw the conclusion that it was related to use of this supplement. Just wanted others to be aware in case their cat might be experienceing the same issue.
Ava has been taking Omegease for the past three years and it has made a great difference in her health status. Ava attended and participated up in Dallas, Texas in the Carry The Load walk. Ava and her Dad walked a total of ten (10) miles before heading back to her home down in Georgetown. Texas.
I got this for my Cane corso and my German shepherd since they are both over 5 years old now. I gave it to them the directed amount for about 3 weeks and both of them got very sick and had diarrhea for a month after I stopped the product. May be good for them but my dogs had a bad reaction to it.
Order came quickly and they even included extra pumps.
The fish oil was rancid within a week. This is the first time I’m giving it to my cats so I learned this after I bought it. It doesn’t come with clear storage instructions and the bottle is just bad designed. It only says to keep it refrigerated in teeny tiny fine print. It comes with a lid and a pump, which is misleading because you shouldn’t use a pump. Pumps expose the oil to oxygen and it should not be exposed to oxygen hardly ever. The bottle is white and it let’s light through and the oil shouldn’t be exposed to light either. I should have done more research but I think the product should have included all this already
Bought this for my dog with patellar luxation, but use it as an appetite stimulant or treat for my other dog and cat. Plus it has never spilled during shipment which has happened when I tried to switch brands
It has little to no fish smell and super runny. Ironically, I smell oranges? On my hands and it has very little fish odor. Is it the different types of fish used to make it? My dogs love it.
My cat really likes this oil and waits for me to squirt it on his food. His fur is really shiny and soft and it helps with his constipation. Yes... my cat gets constipated. Ha!
Within a few days use I could notice a change in both our cats and dogs coats. Less dry and flaky skin. Much less shedding. And they like the taste. I just put in on top of their food.
