Do NOT Buy for Large Dogs!

On the description the warning was: "If this product splinters or develops sharp edges, throw it away immediately for your pet's safety." That was ONE minute into

On the description the warning was: "If this product splinters or develops sharp edges, throw it away immediately for your pet's safety." That was ONE minute into chewing- I threw it away! Also, it says for "Giant Breeds" that is totally incorrect! Although the bone is 5-7" long (had to find that information in 'Questions answered') There is no size description in the specification-it only lists "for Giant Breeds" This product is EXTREMELY THIN. Seriously, a Yorkie might SAFELY enjoy it-nothing larger! For my Golden, 60lb~not a giant, it was a total waste of money!

As soon as my dog started chewing on it the bone broke into a bunch of pieces. Just splintered in his mouth. It was a mess and dangerous.

These bones splintered immediately after giving them to our dogs (dobe and Great Dane). I would not recommend these.

Splinters when chewing

The bone splintered very badly. The sharp splinters were very pointed and I was worried they would harm dog. Threw them out. Wasn’t worth the risk.

PLEASE SUPERVISE IF BUYING

I bought one of these last week and after unwrapping I was very skeptical about giving it to my 65# dog. I gave in, but 3 minutes later I took it away, threw it

I bought one of these last week and after unwrapping I was very skeptical about giving it to my 65# dog. I gave in, but 3 minutes later I took it away, threw it away and gave him a Purina Busy Bone (made in the USA) instead. The shards of bone that break off are terribly sharp and I'm sure very unhealthy for my dogs digestive system. I'm surprised Chewy even carries this type of bone. Lesson learned, only Purina for us!

Be careful of splintering!

if you have a heavy tower, make sure you watch them with this bone. Any heavy chewer with a very strong jaw can go through this bone quickly, which can cause splintering
