I thought this would be the perfect bed for full-grown, 113 pound beloved dog. I especially liked the cording on the cover to protect the corners from chewing. The

I thought this would be the perfect bed for full-grown, 113 pound beloved dog. I especially liked the cording on the cover to protect the corners from chewing. The cover is, indeed, great. The bed isn't. It's more like an air mattress and pops up around the dog when he tries to lie on it. If he leans against it, it slides away. I expected more heft, a firmer mattress, and more substance. I ordered the largest size and didn't mind the $99 price point for the performance I expected. It doesn't deliver and our not-fussy dog now sleeps on the floor next to it rather than keep trying. I will take it to the shelter and hope they have better luck.

I purchased 2 of these beds in 2015. Both I and my dogs loved them! Sadly, the new version is of lesser quality all around. Less filling, crackly sounding insert
