do I use the Howe tube on one cat if so do I put it all in the same spot yes or no
Answer by ChewyMay 24, 2019
The entire tube should be used on one cat. Prior to application of the product, gently lift the cat's or kitten's hair coat on the back of the neck at the base of the skull, position the tip of the tube on cat's exposed skin and squeeze out the entire contents of the tube onto the cat's skin.

Will this make your cat drool if they ingest by licking application area
Answer by ChewyMar 04, 2021
This treatment has a bitter taste, oral exposure could result in salivation. Be careful not to get any product in the cats mouth while applying.

How long does it take for this to dry?
Answer by ChewyApr 29, 2020
The length of time it takes the treatment to fully dry will vary.

How long will it take to start killing fleas?
Answer by ChewyAug 03, 2021
The UltraGuard Flea & Tick Spot Treatment for Cats is used to kill fleas and deer ticks. To prevent future infestations for up to 30 days, it stops only the adult fleas and the product also repels mosquitos. The product does not repel adult fleas from jumping on your pet and the product does take some time to breakdown these fleas. If you are seeing adults fleas reappearing on your cat, we recommend two solutions, treating the surrounding environment and flea combing. Treating your home and yard will breakdown fleas before they have a chance to land on your pet. If they do happen to get to your pet, they will eventually die once they come into contact with the product. If you would like to stop this more quickly, flea combing your cat and then placing the fleas in a water and Dawn dish detergent solution is one of the quickest ways. With each flea caught and placed in the water, wipe the comb clean and then comb through the cat again.

Not Good For My Cat

I put this on her and within 5 minutes she was bolting around the house, crying and trembling. The smell was really strong and I thought maybe she just wasn't used to it but after about an hour...she was no better. I wiped some of it off and she seemed better but was still antsy and not looking right. I ended up bathing her to get it off. She hates baths but she let me put her under the water spout for relief! I feel so terrible. I will not buy this again. Listen to the reviews. I should have.

Terrible product

I used this on my kitten and right away he didn't like it. The smell is awful and strong. After 20 minutes I knew he was not happy and I know if I can't stand the smell from 10 feet away I know he can't. I immediately washed the product off and my kitten has been itchy since the application.

Used for 14 years not 1 flea

We have used this for 14 years on two different cats. One is indoor/outdoor, one occasionally goes outside. Not once have we had a single flea. Will continue to use this always!!

We decided to try this product for our cat. Highly disappointed that it did no good whatsoever and we wasted our money on this product. Highly do NOT recommend.

Not good for my cat

My kitten started going outside. I've used this brand for many cats. My kitten came inside with his face covered in fleas. I waited it out. 2 weeks in and the fleas tripled and spread across his body. Not working on this cat at all

Hasn't failed me yet

I have always used these on my cats, and this brand and treatment hasn't let me down. I apply it once a month after giving my cat a bath (she's indoor only). I part her fur and apply it in a line down her back (starting just above her neck and ending a bit past what would be her shoulder blades). The medicine isn't where she can reach it or lick it, but I prefer not to drop it all in one place and risk any skin reactions. No problems, and since she's indoor only, I use it mainly as a precaution.

I put this on one of my cats and he started flipping out. He was hissing, hiding, crying, everything. He had a terrible reaction to it and it should be off the market. If it wasn't for my mom's fast thinking to get it off his neck He could have had serious issues. I had to fully bathe him and force him to drink water for him to feel better.
