are the boots breathable?

These boot were created with healing wounds in mind and are breathable.

Can one person put these on the dog or are two people needed ? With the booties my dog wears now, my husband holds her leg while I snuggle the bootie up over her paw. Definitely two people are needed

Did not work for me

I’m sure these are quite useful in the right situation, but my dog was too small and she walked right out of them. Also they were not soft enough for her condition

I’m sure these are quite useful in the right situation, but my dog was too small and she walked right out of them. Also they were not soft enough for her condition. Her feet were infected and painful so she could not walk on them. I needed something softer to allow them to heal. Also the opening as designed was extremely difficult get on and off because the Velcro was so strong. I ended up donating them to the Humane Society who assured me they could use them.

Too big

I followed the instructions for sizing and get they are still way too big! Big bummer I will have to donate them since they don’t fit any of my dogs.

Awesome Product... phenomenal customer experience with Healers!

A very complicated medical issue treating Odin, my standard poodle, who's suffering from blastomycosis. My local vet found this product to help protect Odi's paws

A very complicated medical issue treating Odin, my standard poodle, who's suffering from blastomycosis. My local vet found this product to help protect Odi's paws and open wounds caused by blasto. The adhesive pads DO NOT MOVE when applied! Like anything you try to put on a dog's paw, it takes a bit for them to adjust, and you find the correct snugness to keep them on. The pads peel off easily when removed, and the booties hold up well when washed in a washing machine and air-dried. The best part about these pads and booties is that they've provided Odi relief, almost completely eliminated his painful limp caused by his paw injuries, and he can go to the bathroom on the grass without blades of grass poking him in the open wounds. PLEASE....if you have questions, contact the company! I've talked to Terry several times, and she is simply amazing! Her expertise and willingness to help us care for Odi is heartwarming. The sizing instructions for him were bigger than a medium bootie, but the large bootie is a bit too large. The medium bootie with the large/XL pad works very well to cover his wound area. My vet was very impressed at how Odi's pads have healed between appointments! Thank you, Terry and Healers!!!

Poor fit

Pilot is a Frenchie so he has big paws and skinny legs then smalls were too small for his feet so we returned and sized up. The mediums were to big. The concept

Helpful booties!

As a former vet tech with over 7 years of experience, I’ve seen plenty of paw injuries and how difficult it is to keep bandages on active dogs. These Healers booties

As a former vet tech with over 7 years of experience, I’ve seen plenty of paw injuries and how difficult it is to keep bandages on active dogs. These Healers booties are a game-changer. The Velcro straps make them super easy to secure, even on wiggly pups, and they stay in place much better than other options I’ve tried. My own dog has seasonal allergies and tends to lick her paws during certain times of the year. These booties have been a great for our daily walks and help prevent excessive licking. I also love that they come with gauze inserts, which is perfect for minor injuries or post-op care. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with paw injuries, allergies, or just wanting extra protection during walks!

Paw Booties

The booties are ok. They still get wet and when the gauze gets wet its not that useful anymore. We haven't had them very long and Apollo is already wearing a hole

The booties are ok. They still get wet and when the gauze gets wet its not that useful anymore. We haven't had them very long and Apollo is already wearing a hole in the bottom of one of the booties. He only wears them when we go for a walk.
