Sassy Cat Treats are different. Made without grains, fillers or artificial preservatives, Herbsmith's Sassy Cat treats help cats live naturally. Cats are carnivores, designed to primarily eat and digest meat with some vegetables and fruits or little to no grain. That's why Sassy Cat has real food treats made with simple basic ingredients based on a cat's optimal diet.

Having tried freeze-dried snacks before and my cats turning their nose up at them I wasn't sure about these. But I needed a snack that could work around both a fish allergy AND diabetes... so no tuna, no salmon, no fish oil, NO CARBS, and still appeal to two fittingly sassy cats. It is a smash hit with both of them! Now that I've spoiled them with these, they don't want their regular food so... these will definitely be special time only snacks.
I got these because the ingredients are clean and minimal for our pancreatitis cat. He doesn't like them, but another cat who will eat anything does. This seems to be consistent in our house with rabbit flavors. He likes the canned rabbit but not the dry. I still recommend trying these!
I say pretty good but only because being dried they fall apart extremely easy. My cats are the pickiest of cats and they came right away to eat these treats. They are best served on a dish since they fall apart in the package.
I am giving this 3 stars since my cats seemed to like the taste. As a treat though, I would give it a minus, as it was so broken up and basically shredded, there was no way to give as a treat. It was certainly not in pieces as shown in the photo.
I got these for my cat as a special treat. She would not even try them. She won’t eat any treats except Chicken Temptations. She has no class.
my cat loves these but, they don't love him. he started have severe itching, when i took him to the vet {along with all of his foods}, she said the sassycat treats are the culprit. this one in particular because it contains cranberries - not good for cats and know allergens. bummer. because he does like them.
I received my order of treats and the bag was entirely powder. Very disappointed.
She used to be a quiet cat, not fussed about her food, barely any begging. Along comes sassy cat. It does look like cardboard and it’s smell is questionable. But this cat is all about it. You can’t even approach the fridge because she expects it’s sass time. And sass is what we get with meows and jumping on the table. Beware of sass addiction.
My cats love treats but this isn't one of them. I believe it is the consistency, they are of course dried and my cats seem to like crunchy treats.
I feed my cats a lot of freeze dried treat brands, and this one is not good. Somehow the smell is like styrofoam or cardboard (many freeze dried treats at least vaguely smell of their ingredients) and neither of my cats will eat them, even though they are pretty open to eating most treats. Wouldn’t recommend.
