I had to switch to something after the big change to the z/d wet food. This has been real tolerated but now the problem with being out of stock. Additionally, the last case I got all the food was very very sticky, making it quite difficult for my dogs to eat. Generally it is rather dry, and that is much better. Wish texture was consistent.

It smelled terrible, and my dog will not eat it. I’m already very limited on what she can even have and this was definitely a no no. When she finally did eat it out of desperation, she got sick.

I have a senior pug who has been plagued by chronic pug problems, espeically the last few years. Seasonal change brings skin and ear infections. I was always hesitant about Hills and Royal Canin because I've worked in holistic pet food stores where they criticize these brands and train their staff to try and persuade people to buy raw food which ends up costing an arm and leg and are pretty unanimously criticized by veterinarians. So, I decided to give this food a try. My pug LOVES it, and after two months I can see a difference in his ears. The only downside is that this food smells more potent than any food I've ever fed him and it lingers lol. It was super easy to switch over to this food, it never caused stomach upset and his stool has remained very normal. Will likely keep him on this diet...forever.

New shipment of the canned had sticky kind of consistency.

Pet likes the taste and will not eat the dry d/ d venison and potato without the canned version mixed in.
