On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the current diet with 75% of the new diet. On Day 7, you can feed your pet the new food exclusively. Ask your Veterinarian about the best way to transition your pet to a new food.

My chihuahua is extremely picky and it’s been a struggle finding an easily digestible meal. He’s developed a an allergic reaction to poultry products so it has been very difficult to find some thing that doesn’t make him ill. This is the only thing working. He’s not thrilled with it but no more stomach pain, bloating and diarrhea. The reason I didn’t give it five stars is because it stinks up my house terribly.
This product helped my dog with skin and digestive issues. He no longer has any stomach issues from the food he is eating. He likes the taste and can’t wait to get more.
We bought this new food after a set of very expensive allergy tests showed that the poor guy was allergic to nearly everything he was eating. It smells better than the "regular" food and he runs for his bowl at every meal. Only problem: the pop top can makes it harder to portion it out.
This is very good dog food if your dog is having medical issues digesting other foods. This food has solved our pancreatitis issue for an older dog. Although this food is very good it is extremely expensive with no coupons available on this site.
75% of the cans I have used of this product contain at least 15% air. Time for Hill's to figure out a better packing system and why they continue to steal customers money. Or better yet, knock 15% off their price until they do figure out the problem.
I received this towards the end of October and the expiration date is January 2021, I'm very disappointed my dog is a Pomeranian. I bought two cases and I think for $50.00 for 12 cans the expiration date should be extended much further than 2 months, I think they wanted to get rid of it and I was the unfortunate recipient.
My vet's Rep was having a hard time finding cases of Skin/Food Sensitivities can of prescription dog food. I ordered 3 cases and they were delivered 2 days after. I am more and more inclined to order from Chewy than my vet these days.
I have been buying this food for a long time. It certainly helps in that my dog doesn't scratch anymore. However, the consistency of the food is not consistent. Sometimes the food is great and I can cut the food in little squares for my 2 little dogs. Then other times the food is so sticky I can't even serve up the food without adding something to try to separate the sticky gob. The stickiness would remind you of overcooked oatmeal. My dogs can't even eat it in the gobby state. I have waited to write a review in hopes that this situation would be corrected, but more often than not I receive the sticky cases.
After being told that our dog would have to go on this diet I was upset because its not cheap. The texture is very much a pate type texture and when mixed in with his special kibble he will eat it. Wish there were more of a variety in the flavors, but Buddy is okay with what he gets for now.
I've been buying this brand for awhile because my vet recommended it and my dog likes it. However, it's very expensive and there are never any coupons and when you open the can there is a hole down the middle. It's in every can and all formulas. It's almost like they scoop some dog food out so you aren't really getting it all. It's not allot but it aggravates me to think I might be getting ripped off a little.
