Cured the cat

My son's cat was constantly licking and she was actually half bald. The vet would give her prednisone which only worked for the time the cat would take it. Then the licking started again. I did some research and tried this food and it worked. She stopped licking off her fur and this food has worked for her for 4 years. All her fur returned.

Food Sensitivities Dry Food

When I adopted my cat Vivian from the shelter two years ago, they were feeding her Hill's brand chicken dry food and wet food. When it became impossible to get the wet food during the Covid pandemic, I switched to another brand, but kept her on the sensitive stomach version because she loves it so much. After a recent vet visit and itchy ears, it was determined that she probably has food allergies to chicken. This seemed like the perfect solution, but she will not eat it. Vivian picks the pale triangular pellets out of her dish and leaves them all over the kitchen floor. Meanwhile, she eats all of the Hill's chicken round pellets that were mixed in, to transition to the new food. Guess I'm off on a hunt for another chicken free dry food for her that she will eat.

Vet recommended, cat approved

Complete transformation of my cat who I thought had white spots! It turns out I actually own a black kitten with smokey fur. Poor baby was chewing his coat off. No issues since. Docking a star due to its prohibitive cost.

Lifesaver

My 8 year old tortoise shell cat had been in and out of animal shelters before I rescued her. She is such a beautiful sweetheart. However, had not been diagnosed with her deadly bowel disease. This food is saving her life.

In a pinch

Was feeding my cat Natural Balance L.I.D. Green Pea and Venison and she was thriving on that food (she is FIV+, but healthy and the venison as protein works the best for her digestive system). Suddenly, that flavor of Natural Balance became unavailable/out of stock. Scrambled to find a suitable replacement for her but nothing was comparable to venison/green pea combo. This Rx diet calmed her bowels within a week of starting it. Thankfully, my vet understands her condition and wrote the Rx. Chewy had the delivery to me the day after I sent them the handwritten Rx. Couldn't be happier. Price is crazy, but worth the expense to keep her healthy.

impatient cat

Frances can't wait for me to serve her. She jumps up and down and waves her paws at me while trying to sit up. She can't wait till I feed her the dry food. She has never responded to food like she does to this one.

Good food option

Since our previous supplier no longer keeps the dry food in stock that our cat was doing well on, we have used this venison-pea combo with helpful results. Less vomiting and stable body weight are the main benefits for our furry sweetie.

Cats Won't Eat This

Bought this for one of my cats suffering from IBD and the venison was recommended. Sadly, none of my 3 cats would eat this. I'm sure it's good food and disappointed that my cats didn't like this. Will try another suggestion.

Very pleased with my purchase of the new formula for Science Diet d/d

I was a little concerned when I saw that the formula had changed for the Science Diet d/d but my cat doesn't seem to notice the difference. Thank goodness! I have been pleased with every purchase I have made with Chewy.com. Your customer service department has to be one of the best in the country. Keep up the good work.
