I rescued my Shorkie the day before Thanksgiving 2014 as a young puppy. Oliver had been treated badly and my vet had taken him away from the abusive owner. Due to the severity Oliver has daily GI issues> I had a serious problem finding a food he would eat. My vet put him on these cans of food. He loves the taste and lets me know exactly when it's meal time. The cans come in a cardboard tray that makes them easy to store and use. Once I open the can I put a plastic dog food lid on it and store it in the refrigerator. He will eat the food at the temperature of the new can nit on cold from the fridge can I do have to warm it up in the fridge with no problems. The auto ship is a great Chewy process, I'm notified it's shipping and in 2 days Fed Ex delivers on my from porch. Over the years I don't believe I've ever had problem with the process or Fed Ex. No crushed cases or misdeliveries. For me it's a Win-Win situation and it keeps Oliver wanting this food over the years even now as a senior dog. Thanks Chewy!

Entire Case Had Severe Bent Cans

Every can in this Autoship had severe dents in them. I was told by the customer service rep that the case would be replaced. It never was. I had to throw it away

Every can in this Autoship had severe dents in them. I was told by the customer service rep that the case would be replaced. It never was. I had to throw it away and I purchased a new case from my vets office. To my surprise it was cheaper and they gave me a $15.00 off rebate from Hill's to be used on my next order. I always do believe that things do turn out for the best. :)

A few of the cans in this case were okay but the others were rancid smelling & cause extreme stomach upset & diarrhea for Penny for several days. It was a different flavor than I normally order so I wasn’t sure it was the food at first. So I am not pleased at all, especially since this food is very expensive. Plus it cost me additional money to feed her chicken, rice and other bland food for several days.

Worth the money!

My 2 year old Cattle Dog mix had a bad case of gastroenteritis and was having diarrhea in the house and even a bland diet of ground turkey and rice wasn't helping

My 2 year old Cattle Dog mix had a bad case of gastroenteritis and was having diarrhea in the house and even a bland diet of ground turkey and rice wasn't helping firm things up. Our veterinarian suggested using this (along with anti-nausea and probiotics) and she's been eating it up easily and her stool has firmed. Would definitely suggest this for dogs who have a sensitive stomach or who tend to get diarrhea from other foods.

Was good food

My young pomeranian has IBD and was prescribed this food after vomiting and having diarrhea consistently. He used to LOVE this food, but within the past few months

My young pomeranian has IBD and was prescribed this food after vomiting and having diarrhea consistently. He used to LOVE this food, but within the past few months they changed the formula and he now picks at it. The new formula is mushy and he doesn’t know whether to lick or chew it. The old formula was much better- less sticky and more solid which was easier for him to eat. It still has been helping his stomach problems, but I don’t love that they changed the formula w/o informing those of us who buy it consistently.

Fast delivery

My dog loved the pate form of the food. I ordered the stew and he wouldn't touch it. I received a credit and the pate form arrived the next day. I donated the stew

My JRT was recently started on the Hill’s I/d diet, both the dry and turkey wet can food. After a week of gradual introduction with the dry food, I added the Turkey wet canned food as a topper! That made all the difference. He now licks the spoon and chows down the combo meal. The new diet totally agrees with his GI system!

This food meets our needs but the stew is better!

My pet needs pills hidden in the food which works better in the stew than just the wer food. No difference in them liking one more than the other.
