Where it All Began

Himalayan Pet Supply is the original creator of the Himalayan Dog Chew. Their team supports a network of over 10,000 Himalayan farmers who handcraft these ancient hard cheese chews for dogs around the world. Tradition + Innovation

Combining ancient traditions with modern innovation, Himalayan Pet Supply chews start in the Himalayan mountains at over 15,000 feet, near Mount Everest. They are crafted with a winning combination of yak and cow milk and are 100% free from preservatives and binding agents. And since they are made for dogs, they are completely free from lactose, gluten, grain, soy, corn and wheat!

Himalayan Pet Supply took part in passing the first laws in Nepal, allowing farmers to insure their livestock as capital. Doing Good One Chew at a Time

In 2003, after discovering Kaos the dog loved Chhurpi, a traditional cheese chew made from the people of the Himalayas, two brothers and their friend had an idea to create a dog-friendly version. After 4 years of tweaking the ancient recipe, removing the lactose and fat content, they ended up with a tasty and savory, long-lasting chew, now known as a Himalayan Dog Chew. SOFT SOFT SOFT

These are NOT the regular Himalayan chews! They are a soft stick, gone in less than 2 minutes! Dogs liked them, but surely NOT a long chew

Himalayan churro chews

Yes, my dog didn't notice the difference between these treats and his usual Yellow Yak ones, however I noticed the price difference, almost double, as the YellowYak ones are $5.20/pkg at my local health food store. But I now have the option if I should run out again. Thanks.

Made Our Dog Sick

Our dog was very ill for days after eating this treat and needed medical care to get her digestive system back to normal. Would not recommend for dogs with sensitive stomachs.

Cleans Teeth!

Pup loves to chew on these. I break them in half so there are eight servings instead of four. I feel like these clean his teeth more so than the Greenies do, plus he actually eats these.

My small dog loves these...

I have a 13lb., 1 year 7 month old Shih Tzu who only eats quality USA made treats and she LOVES these...The sticks are bigger (at least compared to her size), the price is great and they last her a while. She likes to grip the stick between her paws and enjoy. She is not hugely food driven (except for chicken and pretty much whatever I am eating), but she enjoys these tremendously and, for whatever odd reason, ants do NOT gravitate toward the treat. I can leave the sticks laying around our house for her enjoyment without worrying about her choking or my house being infested with ants.

My pups love these

My 9 1/2 yo Golden/yellow lab mix and my 10 week old Goldendoodle love these treats. Doesn’t last a long time with my big boy, but an all day treat for my little guy

Lasted two seconds not with it. I thought they would be like the normal yak chews but not even close
