Caused him to have the runs

I gave it to him slowly mixed in with his regular canned food which contains tuna. The reason I wanted to try this salmon is because it doesn't have tuna in it and

I gave it to him slowly mixed in with his regular canned food which contains tuna. The reason I wanted to try this salmon is because it doesn't have tuna in it and my cat is eating way too much tuna. I don't like the fact that tuna has so much mercury in it. But even though I introduced it slowly within a few days he developed "the runs" and now I am not sure what to feed him. I've tried boiling chicken for him and mixing it with some rice and a few other things but so far nothing has helped. If you can recommend anything else, please let me know.

I bought a 48 case of these because my cats love them. But upon receiving them the cans I opened have all been liquid only with tiny pieces of meat in it. The picture with the can on the left is one I bought from the grocery store and the one on the right is from the case I bought here. Very disappointed in the product and I won't be able to feed my babies these cans. I've opened 4 so far and all of them are liquid.
