Good ingredients

We needed to find a novel protein, limited ingredient food for Big Daddy who has ongoing diarrhea. This fit the bill perfectly. Unfortunately I could not entice

We needed to find a novel protein, limited ingredient food for Big Daddy who has ongoing diarrhea. This fit the bill perfectly. Unfortunately I could not entice him to eat it. I tried mixing with his old food, adding warm water, heating it, but nothing worked. It is a very dry pate. He usually prefers food with more liquid. Even the outdoor stray didn’t like it. It’s also very expensive but I guess that’s to be expected. I gave it 3 stars because it has good ingredients and it fits a need, if you can get your cat to eat it.

My senior cat has severe IBD-related food intolerances. It was only after limiting him to rabbit protein that we saw significant improvement in his condition. This is one of the few wet foods that I trust at this point to feed him. He seems to really enjoy eating it. It’s a smooth pate which supplements his other main single ingredient wet food from Rayne Nutrition. It’s been great to be able to add some variation to his diet. I also like the fact that it comes in small 3oz cans.

No-chicken recipe

Eddie is likely allergic to chicken, so this is a can food item he can eat. We mostly use homemade and commercial frozen raw, but he gets this between other meals

My rating isn't just for this product or the other foods Autumn ate nor all of the meds she received from Chewy. My rating is because of the amazing love we felt from Chewy when we lost Autumn. I had to cancel all of her prescriptions and Instinct foods. We received the most beautiful bouquet of flowers. We were awe struck and couldn't believe a company would care so much about Autumn or us that they would send such a gift. We've posted it on social media sites and told our friends. Over the years Chewy has done so much to help us with our allergy ridden kitties but trying to help us locate options to taking in returns. You are all in wonderful hands. We are so grateful to them. I bought this wet food product for my cat that has chicken allergies. She has never tried a rabbit based formula before but when I put it in front of her she gave me a four paw shake of disgust. I tried mixing it with her lickable treat and still no success. Out of three cats only one would attempt to have a small portion of it the first day but after the second serving he wouldn't touch it either, which is why I give it two stars. The texture and consistency appears to be a standard pate, no oddities about it and has a normal amount of cat food odor. I had high hopes for this product but it seems to not be to the taste of my cats.

My cat vomits and I'm trying to figure out the cause so I decided to go to a limit ingredient diet. This food is exactly what I needed however he would not eat it

So now I spent alot of money and I'm back to square one. I wish I could have purchased only 3 cans just to try it. I know I could at the pet store but Chewy is my go to when ordering for my pets!

I was initially nervous to receive my shipment given the reviews about bone fragments. I have been happy to report that with 16 cans of our 24 consumed so far, I’ve found no issues! My cat’s been struggling with an upset stomach, vet recommended limited ingredient/novel protein for a test diet. After the initial suspicion of a new food (took a couple of days) now he is SO excited to eat and is vomiting a LOT less! Very happy with this product and it’s great to see my little guy excited to eat food that’s good for him!
