The playpen was easy to put together and looked very nice. When we picked our puppy up and brought him home we put him in the playpen with toys, pee pad, water,

The playpen was easy to put together and looked very nice. When we picked our puppy up and brought him home we put him in the playpen with toys, pee pad, water, and a bed In the family room while we fixed dinner - just 15 feet away - and low and behold in a few minutes he was next to us begging for attention. So we went in and put him back in while staying with him and playing with him and he climbed out! He is a Cavalier Spaniel - perhaps it is easier for them because they have longer legs. Would be perfect for dachshunds.

Peace of mind

We got this for our 17yo beagle who has trouble getting her legs underneath her at times and has “sundowners” type symptoms at night which was causing us lost sleep

We got this for our 17yo beagle who has trouble getting her legs underneath her at times and has “sundowners” type symptoms at night which was causing us lost sleep. Now we’re able to sleep at night knowing she’s secure and also when not home for a few hours. Very easy to put together and to move or put away, unlike the metal crate we were using. Seems less like a jail and more like a playpen.

Design change not for best!

With my last puppy I purchased this product and loved it! As a matter of fact five years later it is still in great shape and does the job. This new version no longer

With my last puppy I purchased this product and loved it! As a matter of fact five years later it is still in great shape and does the job. This new version no longer has the metal bars that slide between the panels and snaps together instead - ugh - they don't stay snapped closed if you move them etc. It also makes this set less stable than the prior model altogether. It slides out of shape easily on the floor if the puppy jumps on it or it is bumped from outside. Four stars because it does a fair job of containing the puppy while we are in the room. I will note that we have 2 sets put together - which has never been an issue with the prior model which we have 3 sets attached - and is less likely to unsnap if just using one 4 panel set, but it will still slide.
