How many quarts do I need to hold 25 pounds of dry food?

The 8 quart size holds approximately 6.5 pounds, the 12.75 quart size holds 10 pounds, the 32.5 quart size holds 25 pounds and the 65 quart size holds 50 pounds.
Does the Iris airtight dog food container have a rubber gasket seal on the lid? The 12:and 3/4 one??

This airtight storage container does include a rubber gasket for an airtight seal.
Can these containers sit flat on a shelf if wheels are removed.

Descriptions do not mention if the plastic is food-grade .. safe for humans and pets????

The smell!

I’ve had this container for about two weeks now. When I first received it and open the lid, the smell was overpowering. I had left it open for two weeks now and it still smells. Not as bad, but I still wouldn’t put anything in it and close the lid. at least I can’t smell it from across the room now. When I first got it, I could smell it from anywhere in the dining room. Don’t buy this brand.

NOT airtight

I have several airtight containers for human food, tools sensitive scientific equipment, electronics and batteries. THOSE CONTAINERS all have a rigid clasp that securely locks the rubber gasket onto the edge of the container. Then I have to pry them open to break the vacuum seal, there’s an auditory sound. THIS CONTAINER has a lightweight and very small plastic clasp that rests underneath a narrow plastic tab. There’s no force involved to create any seal. I can unclasp and open the lid with my pinky. I placed a hygrometer inside the container filled with dog food and the humidity was only slightly lower than the room it was in. It even raised to 77% humidity when I placed it inside a hot, steamy shower (away from the water spray). So this WILL NOT KEEP FOOD FROM GETTING MOLDY. I doubt it would even keep small insects from getting in. Complete waste of money.

Great product for hungry kittens

I have a three month old kitten named pumpkin and he is a handful. He is always searching for food and trying to eat through things. So these have definitely help a lot! The are nice and secure and it is hard to flip the latch and it also keeps his food nice and fresh. Definitely recommend getting
