    No soy!!!!!!

By StormCrow on Apr 1, 2021

Fast, Fresh, and the girls love it. So hard to find anything for people or "pets" that hasn't got soy hidden somewhere.

    Excellent Scratch!

By Chickenlady on Dec 29, 2020

I love this Kalmbach Feed scratch. I usually buy Purina scratch locally but when ordering on Chewy getting the Kalmbach. Great price for the non-GMO and soy-free products. Of course, chickens are such omnivores and will eat anything but they are really enjoying this scratch.

The girls like this product a lot,

By Janet on Oct 21, 2020

I received the 50# bag 5 grain scratch just about 2 days after I ordered it. I was in good condition. I ordered it because it contains milo and I wanted to see how the girls like it. There are 13 hens and 8 are pullets. We have cool mornings now in the CA Central Valley and everybody wakes up ready to eat. I gave them the scratch grains and added black sunflower seeds to it. All loved it and were eating eagerly - so I am glad there were none not liking it. iT SMELLS good too and there is no dust either. I would suggest that they have double the tape on the big box that holds 50 lbs because it arrived partly open and it was harder to push it into the house. Quality, No waste, super pleased!

By Kate on Dec 3, 2020

Birds loved it! Close to zero waste. I had been hunting for non gmo, soy free. This was the most affordable option but that hasn't impacted quality. 5 stars

    Very Dusty

By chickenmom on Oct 6, 2020

The grains are ..okay. My chickens like it but do leave alot behind. This product is very dusty. When I get a cup of it and toss it out in the yard there is a huge cloud of dust. I need to find something else. CHEWY please pick a different brand!

    Overpriced

By BigBoy on Jun 18, 2020

Way too expensive. My hens snub it too. Tractor supply has nongmo, organic ,similar, for about half the pice. Chewy is getting pricey, these days.

    Kalmbach scratch grains

By Honcho on Jun 29, 2020

Chickens like very much and it's actually grains and not a bag full of dust. I mix it with their regular crumbled layer.

    Chickens don't go for it

By JackC on May 12, 2020

My chickens spread the majority of this product from the feeder on the ground. I'm going to try to use it as wild bird seed.
