Can anyone please share how the three rigid boards are placed? There are no included instructions, and the ones on Chewy's site only list care instructions.

I wondered about that too. In fact it took me a little bit to find the opening that the cardboard slits into. It does go from the very back of the seat to the back of the front seat. And I'm sorry I don't remember but the slit might be at the very bottom back. I really love this seat protector because my dogs no longer fly to the floor. The only thing I don't like is it's a little slick so I'm going to look for that fabric that's on the bottom the feet of baby pajamas and glue it on.

This is perfect in every way. Fits my Volvo cross as if it were custom made. It transforms the backseats into a complete cabin space for my dogs to sit, sleep and move around. Durability

I bought this for my husband's truck as he takes our 2 fairly large dogs for a ride every day. The dogs jump in and out, has been very durable and easy to clean

In the past I have had similar covers where the latches break, the Katziela brand is way more durable. Very happy. I just vacuum weekly. Very happy with the Katziela Extended Back Car Seat cover.

This option is so much better

I added a piece of stiff board insulation underneath to make the base even more rigid. Also added something to make the floor flat as the way the item is designed

Ease of installation and safety

Well, we know Chubs is safe in the car now and that's a plus b/c he really likes to go for rides. The seat cover is well made but ... Chubs is not one to lie down

Well, we know Chubs is safe in the car now and that's a plus b/c he really likes to go for rides. The seat cover is well made but ... Chubs is not one to lie down or sit still for very long and he slides all over the nylon padding (yes, even with the restraint buckled). I wish there was a way to put some sort of fabric cover over the nylon so he wouldn't slide. And it could be washed when necessary. We're using an old quilt now, but he has that in a bundle in no time. So yay for safety, but not so much for design. I know this can be better.

The super help I got from Kenzie the supervisor!

The product itself is excellent, fits my car and my baby boy Loves all the room he gets to spread out! But getting it to me was quite an ordeal! Refunds were done

I had a hammock style car seat cover which was good but this cover is GREAT. The hard bottom is a game changer. My dog sits better and seems much more comfortable

I had a hammock style car seat cover which was good but this cover is GREAT. The hard bottom is a game changer. My dog sits better and seems much more comfortable having a solid bottom. He also appreciates the mesh front so we can see everything going on. It's a bit pricey but id buy it again and again because it works so well and my dog enjoys it. Also easy to clean as the hard bottom parts come out. Also comes with a nice carry bag in case you don't need it in your car 24/7.
