Give your little critter something healthy to nibble with the Apple Orchard Sticks from Kaytee. These sticks are made from sustainable trees and created for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and other small, fuzzy friends to gnaw on. A natural behavior of small animals, chewing is a healthy exercise that can help reduce boredom while helping to support clean, healthy teeth. If there's nothing nutritious for your little one to chew, she may turn to less-appealing sources, like her enclosure wires or other objects around the cage. With these apple orchard sticks, you know your pet has a safe, healthy outlet to exercise those chompers.
Chewable apple sticks help to reduce boredom and create fun during playtime.
Ideal for guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, ferrets and other tiny furry companions.
Pet-safe, natural material is perfect for chewing, so it's safe for your pet to munch on.
Hard chewing material may help to clean and trim teeth.
The boys, (guinea pigs) love the Apple Orchard Sticks, they grabbed them up as soon as I placed them in their open-top long cage. Kept them busy for quite a while so I could replace their bedding, fill their food dish, fresh water, toys for them. They seemed genuinely happy.
Hit or Miss
on Jul 13, 2019
I guess they never miss huh. This treat is great for and enjoyed by some pets and not so much others, it really depends on the animal and their preferences. However, even if they don't enjoy it ,for the low price of $2 it's not a total waste of money. Feel free to try, though I've found most of my mice like to chew on these.
Bunnies won’t eat
on Jul 1, 2019
We bought these at recommendation of our vet, particularly for an angora rabbit who needs to chew more due to reoccurring teeth over growth. Sadly, this rabbit had no interest in the sticks while he will eat twigs from our trees. Even our large rabbit who eats almost anything wasn’t very interested in these.
Not a winner with my pets
on Jul 15, 2019
Let's face it.....sometimes we try out new things for our animals and it is not a home run! Neither my rabbit nor my guinea pig liked these. They wouldn't even try them. I'm sure that there is nothing wrong with them, just not a winner in my household.
loved but run empty fast

i honestly didn’t really think my mice would like them but i was surprised to find them chewed down. they seemed to love them. but i’d buy two cause before you know it they are all gone.
He's not a fan

While I think they smell lovely, apparently Niels the Bun takes personal offense to these. So much so he put the first one offered in the corner and peed on it.
Going to assume that's a no from him.
Dry. My Chinchillas ignore them
on Jul 29, 2019
These were better quality in the past. Now they are so old and dry that my chins no longer even pick them up. The apple sticks from Quality Cage are much fresher.
mini-lop rabbit doesn't like them
on Jul 23, 2019
We adopted a mini-lop rabbit at the beginning of July, who is around 1-2 years old, and he doesn't show any interest in these stick treats.
Nice little treat

My Guinea pigs do chew on these but prefer other chewy items. I like the idea of giving them something different but they have not chewed them much. I don't think its the product but my guineas preference.

Can't really say much on this item, told really good for rabbits to chew on , but my rabbit won't touch.
