I just LOVE this new type of bedding, so much better than the old cedar chips and shavings. It has been some years since I have had hamsters tho, so this type may have been around awhile. But a little goes a long way and it cleans up easier and is much copier and warmer for them!!! Plus the lavender scent smells nice and seems to calm them.

Along with my chewy mug last on January 23 2023 when my dog Elsa did chewy sent me a dozen long stem yellow roses. As broken down as I was it out a smile on my face. To this day, every day I think about Elsa snd I cry. Every day and yet I can’t find a doctor to help me with anxiety. I’m in tears now. I took a beautiful picture of the roses from when I received them. Thank u chewy

Smells great

This Kaytee Lavender bedding is the softest bedding. The lavender scent helps with odor. And because it is made of paper, it is safe for my bunny who will chew anything

This Kaytee Lavender bedding is the softest bedding. The lavender scent helps with odor. And because it is made of paper, it is safe for my bunny who will chew anything he can get his teeth on. I especially like the bright white color as it makes it easier to spot any change in his potty habits which would warrant a quick trip to the veterinarian (e.g. urine color changes, or amount of urine and poo... ).

Don’t do it

I wish i did more research before getting this from pet supplies plus as an emergency pack from what i usually get, the small pet select one which i will also not

I wish i did more research before getting this from pet supplies plus as an emergency pack from what i usually get, the small pet select one which i will also not be doing anymore. my hamsters skin is falling victim to the strong fragrance, made with real lavender or not. she’s itching NONSTOP and i feel like a terrible mom. don’t do this, just line the bottom of your hamster cage with baking soda for odor control. maybe some air purifiers (unscented) around the cage too.

Our herd pushes everything else out of their cage

When we got our guineas i gave them a different bedding each day to test them out. As time went on i noticed that the days with this bedding where the only days

When we got our guineas i gave them a different bedding each day to test them out. As time went on i noticed that the days with this bedding where the only days a ton of bedding wasn't all over the floor. They will tolerate the kaytee natural, but this one is their favorite, I think because it's softer. I tried grabbing a store brand lavender bedding when funds were tight....worst move ever, they pushed it out and had a wall of bedding piled up in the cage with a big mess of urine all over the cage floor for us to clean. I make sure there are at least 2 bags in reserve now.
