Kaytee Meal Worm Wild Bird Food is a delicious 100% mealworm treat that provides an excellent source of protein for wild birds. This high-energy food source is a favorite among bluebirds, wrens, robins, chickadees, woodpeckers, cardinals and many songbirds that are hard to attract with the average seed blend. Dried mealworms have the nutritional value of live mealworms and are more convenient to feed. You can use them alone in a feeder or mix them with your favorite wild bird seed.

I had no idea that this was available on Chewy. Terrific! I am an avid bird feeder but have never seen a bluebird, even tho this is an area where they live. So I wanted to order meal worms to entice them to come nearby. Several other birds have arrived but so far no blue birds. I plan to keep buying meal worms and keep trying to entice blue birds to come. This is a good product to use.
Disgusting but the Birds love them!

The birds love them. I put them out dry and the rain comes and allows them to dehydrate, either way the birds like them moist or dry. This bag will last a very long time as the birds only eat a few a day. The only thing that gets to me is the smell but the bag is opened and closed rather quickly.
Best If Rehydrated

We live in upstate NY & usually only have black oil sunflower seed in feeders yet have many birds year-round. Bought these because we had bluebirds return this year & it's been below average temps so few insects out for them to eat. At first, no one seem interested in the worms even after a few days out. Also, the wind blew them away they're so lightweight. Learned we can rehydrate them & what a difference it made! Simply put worms in bowl, pour on some boiling water, let sit til cool & drain. We now have rufous-sided towhees, phoebes, & catbirds around! Chickadees & other songbirds love them too. Re-ordering them today!
Bluebirds certainly AREN’T singing the blues!

My bird feeders are so crowded since I’ve filled them up with these mealworms! The bluebirds have taken over and the entertainment for my cats watching from their window hammocks has been wonderful!! These are a favorite!!
All the birds that visit love these

I took someone’s advice in the reviews and soak them in water before feeding these worms to the wild birds. They went from “ok these are good” behavior to waiting for me to come outside and clearly enjoying them so much more.

My wild birds love mealworms. This brand is good, as the worms come intact in the package (not a lot of tiny pieces). Also no real smell, which I appreciate. :-) Definitely will be buying again.

Chewy is the best major company I have ever delt with. When my sweet Tank was alive I got food and other items from Chewy. Have never had a bad experience. For any animal , Bird or other pet they are the company to use.

I am a hit with the birds in the neighborhood when I put the Mealworms out!! They draw so many different kinds of birds and I love taking pictures as they enjoy them. The only bad thing is the creepy way they feel in your hands!! YIKES!
I haven’t seen fancy birds as advertised
on Apr 14, 2020
I purchased to add it to my usual wild bird formula in the hopes I would see more fancy birds as advertised but instead all I’ve seen is bird fights. The pigeons are not allowing smaller birds to get close and now they’re struggling to get to the feeder. I have a couple of cardinals that visit but I had them before I purchased this.
Disappointed birds won’t eat them

I had high hopes my birds would like these worms but they didn’t touch them. I wasted my money.
