We live in upstate NY & usually only have black oil sunflower seed in feeders yet have many birds year-round. Bought these because we had bluebirds return this year & it's been below average temps so few insects out for them to eat. At first, no one seem interested in the worms even after a few days out. Also, the wind blew them away they're so lightweight. Learned we can rehydrate them & what a difference it made! Simply put worms in bowl, pour on some boiling water, let sit til cool & drain. We now have rufous-sided towhees, phoebes, & catbirds around! Chickadees & other songbirds love them too. Re-ordering them today!

I am a hit with the birds in the neighborhood when I put the Mealworms out!! They draw so many different kinds of birds and I love taking pictures as they enjoy them. The only bad thing is the creepy way they feel in your hands!! YIKES!
I haven’t seen fancy birds as advertised
on Apr 14, 2020
I purchased to add it to my usual wild bird formula in the hopes I would see more fancy birds as advertised but instead all I’ve seen is bird fights. The pigeons are not allowing smaller birds to get close and now they’re struggling to get to the feeder. I have a couple of cardinals that visit but I had them before I purchased this.

Mealworms to attract birds

Great for attracting bluebirds, woodpeckers of all kinds and many more birds than I've ever gotten before. The amount was great for the price too

Many other birds like these mealy worms but the Bluebirds nesting in the backyard Bluebird box prefer them to anything else. Sometimes there is a confrontation at the tray.

Buy a bag! I put about 1 cup of mealworms per pound of seed. Now I have Evening Grosbeaks, Gold & Purple finches at my feeders. Turned my boring seed to bling seed.

So glad you carry this item. I have bluebirds nesting in a couple birdhouses and they wait for me to come out with their breakfast and dinner.
Bluebirds are back!
on Feb 18, 2020
Recently I ordered these mealworms because the bluebirds were back! I have a bluebird house under my deck and it is usually occupied during the spring and summer by a nesting bluebird family. Fortunately Chewy is very fast with their deliveries so as soon as I see the bluebirds I ordered from Chewy and got my order the following day! Its great!
