I bought these because I feed the crows in a little bowl in the mornings. I figured out that they LOVE peanuts & decided to buy a bag. I sprinkle these in with the seeds & they absolutely love them. I watch them hopping around with peanuts in their beaks every morning. It’s so cute!!!! Didnt have any issues with bugs in the bag like others had. Totally fresh!

This is the third bag I’ve purchased and it is again packed with great quality whole peanuts. It’s not till I hit the bottom that I see a few broken or empty shells. The bags are clean and dry with no moisture so no mold. There are no extras thrown in like corn or seed. The squirrels and the towhees, and probably the possum and raccoons, clean their ‘plates’ and if they’re happy and healthy I’m happy.

I don't want to shock you, but i buy these peanuts FOR the squirrels -- actually ground squirrels we have out here on the Mojave Desert. So, i won't be trying to keep them separate for the birds. The only birds out here big enough to eat them are ravens and they get enough treats from all the trash cans they raid. Any way, they are perfect for other critters, not just birds.

I purchased these peanuts for the birds and squirrels in my yard so they can have them as a treat and to provide them with some food to put away for winter. I used to purchase Kaytee products for my guinea pigs, so I knew this was a good brand. I purchased two kinds of peanuts, shelled peanuts for wildlife, which I purchased locally, and these. They prefer these by far! These disappeared very quickly. My cats enjoy sitting by the windows and watching all the birds and squirrels these peanuts attract. I would recommend ordering the peanuts with lighter items, so the peanuts do not get crushed during transit. All in all, I highly recommend these, and the squirrels and birds absolutely love them!

I use these peanuts to attract Blue Jays and woodpeckers to my yard. They are also very attractive to squirrels and chipmunks, so keep that in mind if you are wanting to feed only birds and hang them appropriately. The price for these peanuts are less than those sold at my favorite wild bird specialty store, so I often buy them from Chewy. Recommend these whole peanuts.

This good size bag of peanuts is a wonderful treat to give to those who need extra protein and fat with winter coming. My hamster gets one peanut every week, whereas the squirrels and blue jays outside get their peanut treats twice a week. They are gone within an hour outside. I recommend this bag of peanuts for those tough winter months that are just around the corner. Your neighborhood birds and squirrels will be happy. My hamster makes a wonderful noise cracking the shell open.

I’m not sure if the crows have made me a peanut snob but there is a brand I used to buy elsewhere that when you opened the bag and smelled I was tempted to say “the crows will be fine” and eat the bag myself. These do not have nearly as pleasant a smell but the crows (and blue jays and squirrels) aren’t complaining. I guess it’s not as fresh as that other brand I used to buy but that brand is no longer available for some reason.

However, I noticed that both the Jays and the squirrels carefully weight different peanuts, making sure to grab the biggest one before they take off. This brand does not have very big peanuts. So I hate to disappoint.
