Is this bedding safe for chickens?

Wood shavings, such as the Kaytee Pine Small Animal Bedding, are a really good option for chicken coop bedding. You absolutely need pine wood shavings, and not cedar shavings (cedar oils and scent can be toxic to chickens. For pine, larger flaked shavings are recommended because they create less dust and allow for quick scooping of waste. The aromatic oils which are natural in pine bedding are considered a natural insect repellent.

In the size description does the “L” stand for liters. Do you have square footage?

The "L" does represent Liters for this bedding. The 10-L expands to 600 cubic inches (0.35 cubic feet). The 19.7-L expands to 1200 cubic inches (0.69 cubic feet).The 52.4-L expands to 3200 cubic inches (1.85 cubic feet).The 113-L expands to 6912 cubic inches (4 cubic feet).

Is this suitable for guinea pigs?

This bedding is recommended for open, well ventilated cages and aquariums. It is suitable for use with Degu, Rat, Mouse, Ferret, Gerbil, Chinchilla, Guinea Pig, Rabbit as well as some birds. It is 100% safe for animals.

What is the weight of this product in pounds?

The 10-L (liter) is approximately 2.17-pounds, the 19.7-L is approximately 3.67-pounds, the 52.4-L is approximately 6.63-pounds and the 113-L is approximately 17-pounds.

A great way to help keep my outside friends warm in the winter

I have heated shelters for my outside friends. They're warm and sturdy, but I like to make them a bit cozy for them as well, so I fill them up with this bedding

I have heated shelters for my outside friends. They're warm and sturdy, but I like to make them a bit cozy for them as well, so I fill them up with this bedding. They burrow their way into it, some falls down behind them and protects them from the open door and they can snuggle in safe, warm and dry. Even if their paws are wet and the bedding gets a little damp, the heat of the shelter dries it out and it stays nice for them all winter.

The customer service team is always extremely helpful and friendly!

Unfortunately the last two orders I placed arrived with ripped bag inside so I had to tranfer them intio other bogs to should spillsgr or prevent than from getting

Unfortunately the last two orders I placed arrived with ripped bag inside so I had to tranfer them intio other bogs to should spillsgr or prevent than from getting stale, that is my only issue that I’ve ever had with this company but otherwise I am completely satisfied and recommend them to anyone I know that has pets. I’ve recently had a stroke and am partially blind so I can’t drive anymore to get to a pet store to get my pets thr supplies they need and everyone is always very helpful whenever I call and ask how my pets are doing, thank you!
