Disappointing
I ordered 4 bags ( buy 3, get one free) for the local pet food pantry. You can look at the front of the bag and see how much dust there is in these bags. It's too bad. You would think the company would do better at cleaning the hay. Not healthy for little animals to breathe in so much stuff.
Looks like straw
Half of the bag looked like straw The normal hay was on the bottom. Guinea pigs refused to eat it. Waste of money
this hay …..
Was NOT fresh. It did not smell like it had gone bad, but it definitely smelled like old hay. NOT what anyone should be feeding their rabbits. I believe this was likely just an odd bag that missed getting tossed out.

looveee this hay
this hay is a total game changer for me and my boys! it is so much less mess and it has a very fragrant smell that the pigs are very attracted to, they nibble it right up. this is my favorite hay by far:)
Good value and it's "first cut hay"!
When I buy Timothy hay at the local feed store for my bunnies, they only eat the tender grass leaves and leave the straw behind so, later in the season when it's 2nd cut or 3rd cut hay most of it goes to waste. With this Kaytee Timothy Hay, it's only about $2 higher in price BUT it's always first cut hay and they eat MOST of it, making it a much better value. I can't even get "first cut" timothy after about May here locally but Kaytee packages enough to have it available all year round.
Issues with the hay for the bunny's
It came with mold and wet we never had no complaints

The hay came dried out, brown with roots. Won't buy this from anywhere again.
