How secure are the suctiin cups? Over time will they loose suction?

As with any suction cup, debris, temperature changes, sunshine and excessive use can weaken the holding power. We recommend removing the suction cups at least once per month to clean the window area, clean the suction cups and then re install them for optimal strength. This perch has a 50 pound weight limit.

How do you fold it up and secure it so that you can close blinds?

To fold up the perch, rotate the perch upward and tuck in the cords under the velcro along the bottom.

What is the wire made out of?

I would not recommend this for most cats. My cat is about 12lbs, and I would not feel comfortable using this hammock long term. I followed the directions and wiped

I would not recommend this for most cats. My cat is about 12lbs, and I would not feel comfortable using this hammock long term. I followed the directions and wiped down the window and the suction cups, but they would never stick for longer than a few hours. I tried multiple windows, but the suction cups always failed. Also, the back side of the hammock isn’t secured to the cat bed part. It’s possible a smaller cat may be able to use the product.

window seat seems well made. It’s strong and sturdy, the bolster on the edge is a plus, too. Was concerned that it was held up my suction cups, but I followed the instructions for installation and it seems well attached to the window. It took my cat a while to work up the nerve (or interest) in trying it out, but she seems to enjoy it now that she has given it a try. She has plenty of room on the platform, however she is quite petite.

Nicely made and stays hung on window

Well made, sturdy, looks comfy and there is a tad bit of assembly but it's easy. I saw this at out lot ver office and they loved it there so I had to buy one for my house.

This seems like a product that could be great if it works for your cat and your home. But my cat didn't love it. After leaving it for her to discover for a couple of days, I placed her there after a cuddle session. She stood for a moment, looking around, and then hopped out. Never showed any more interest. She just didn't really see it as a place to sit.

Okay but there are better

It took a few try’s to get it to sick to the window. Once I thought it was stuck, Biscuit jumped up on it and nope. Now that it is stuck she doesn’t really trust

Great until it wasnt

I had one of these for a year and the plastic part that holds the frame together broke. No problem, Chewy replaced it!!! But the second one I got broke much more

As a home with multiple cats, perches are prime real estate around here. Our cats loved a version we purchased through a different manufacturer, however they didn't hold up to some of our heftier boys. We ordered four of these and they have been a resounding success. They are well built and big enough for our larger friends. We recommend!

Save your money

It starts out great. Cats loved it. I purchased them in June now it’s Nov & it looks horrible. Doesn’t fold up enough or secure enough the close the blinds. Worse
