Used to calm puppies and reduce stress caused by fireworks, thunderstorms, separation anxiety and more. Helps with crate training by reducing adverse behaviors such as barking and whining. Helps pets transition to their new home. Indoor use only. Not intended for use by children. Pets can chew items unexpectedly. Remove toy immediately if torn or damaged. Seek veterinary attention if any material is ingested.; WASH/CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Remove heartbeat device. Pillow can be machine washed. Machine wash gentle, air dry.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS for Mother's Heartbeat Device:

Remove batteries from packaging & install into the heartbeat device.
Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to turn ON the device.
Once turned ON, the device will shut OFF automatically in 8 hours.
Place the heartbeat device into the pocket of the pillow and close the pocket.
While in the ON mode, press and hold for 3 seconds to manually turn OFF the device.
Use the heartbeat pillow to soothe your puppy and to help it sleep.

The heartbeat device will run for 8 hours then automatically shut off. If you want to manually turn it off prior to the 8 hour shut off, simply hold the heart button for 3 seconds and it will turn off.

How long do the batteries last?

Great while it worked

Really seemed to soothe my senior dog for the first two days when it was basically silent yet the heartbeat could be felt. Then, it started making a clicking sound on day 3 that was loud enough to make her not want to be near it. Buyer beware.
