K&H Self-Warming Products
K&H makes a variety of products to help make your pets more comfortable. Their wide range of self-warming products utilizes a special layered technology to help keep your pet warm without the use of electricity.

How It Works
K&H’s multilayer self-warming technology captures your pet’s body heat and radiates it back for toasty warmth—no electricity required! The first layer works as an insulator for heat capture, while the second layer reflects that captured heat back to warm up your pet. These self-warming beds are perfect for use in crates or on their own anywhere your pet likes to relax.

Quality bed, reasonable price and a hit from day 1!
By Midnight on Apr 9, 2021
This bed looked super cozy and comfortable so I thought I’d give it a try. Cats can be picky and I wasn’t sure how she would react to it. After taking it out of the box I put her in it. It was an immediate hit! This self-warming bed is one of her two favorites! The weather is warm right now so the hood is off. But I’m sure she’ll love it even more when it gets cold and I attach the hood to this high quality bed.

Meh, could be better.
By Emmy on Feb 18, 2021
I like the size of this bed. I don’t believe the “self-warming” claim. The hood, which was one of the main reasons I bought this bed, falls flat/caves in ridiculously easy. I like to cover the opening at night to keep warmth in for my cat and whether it has nothing on top of it or a very very lightweight cat blanket, it caves in. She uses this bed to sleep in the hallway at night- right by my door, since she’s terrible to sleep with and will wake you up every hour or 2 for attention if she had access to you in the night. If you’re on the fence and the hood is one of your main reasons for buying, I’d say look for a different bed than this. Photo is of Laila when the bed first came and the hood I like the size of this bed. I don’t believe the “self-warming” claim. K&H fan, but this one misses the mark
By MegM on Mar 29, 2021
My cat loves to sink into beds and I was hoping this would provide him a snuggly bed with some cover. Unfortunately the lid does not stay up and either hits him in the head or falls back down. If I unzip the lid he doesn't even like the bed because it's a hard raised lump and I can see why it isn't comfy. This is shoved in a closet until I can give it away.

Cat likes it okay.
By Heather on Jan 24, 2021
My cat wasn't all that interested in this at first... I found her laying in it once with the hood on then came home and the hood had been smashed down like maybe she tried to lay in it but stepped on the hood on her way in... I took the hood off and she's using it a little more now but is still not as enthused about it as she has been about other beds in the past. The bed is really nice, good quality, it's just not her favorite... she tends to like fluffy bedding/blankets but is getting old and likes to hang out near heat vents for warmth so I liked that this one is self-warming. I ordered the small... my cat is medium size, about 12 lbs, and sleeps curled up so it works for her but, any smaller My cat wasn't all that interested in this at first... Kitty likes it
By Amanda on Apr 5, 2021
Got this for my kitty to keep warm during the cold weather since the house can get pretty chilly at night. He took to it right away although I did have to remove the hood because with it on he wanted nothing to do with it. It is great quality as well.

Kitty is Ill
By Cheryl on Feb 22, 2021
The bed is BEAUTIFUL -- unfortunately our little kitty (who is 20 years old) is very ill. She did not take to the bed and wants only to sleep on a soft blanket on our couch. When she decides to "call it a life", we will give the bed to a friend or a shelter and we know that some kitty somewhere is about to receive a wonderful surprise! We have always loved everything about Chewy -- your products are great and your customer service is awesome. Thank you.

Cats won't touch it
By Sarah on Feb 4, 2021
I tried every trick in the book to get cats into this bed. All 4 of them think it's the devil and not to be trusted, despite applications of catnip, used blankets, toys, and placement in favorite spot. Did they even test this on cats??? I can only assume all those photos of cats in this bed are Photoshop'd 'cause my sample is 0 for 4. Second star is for decent execution/construction and because I assume it works on dogs, but I can't give 3 stars to something that doesn't serve its purpose no matter how well it's made. Wasted money, hoping Chewy will refund.

Very Satisfied
By LisaM on Jan 25, 2021
I purchased this covered bed for an adult male kitty who took up at our house last spring and has been sleeping in our carport in a Chewy box lined with fleece blankets, which he took to immediately. I decided to get something a bit more permanent with a partial covering, and this cat bed did the trick. I lined it with some of the fleece bedding, even "insulating" the cover with a couple of small blankets, and now he seems as satisfied as I am with the product. The covering is soft and the cushion is well padded; the illustration is accurate. The kitty does not sink down in the bed.

Flimsy, sides are too high
By Kate on Apr 2, 2021
1st one I ordered had a broken zipper for the hood. Chewy was great and sent a replacement. The replacement hood zipped on correctly but is flimsy. It falls in. My cat doesn't like it.

Hooded Cat Bed
By CatBed on Feb 18, 2021
The bed is very nice. Got here very quickly after I ordered it. Good quality for the price. Looks warm and inviting. My cat won't go near it, preferring a more protective cave-like bed. She is still being socialized after 2 years in a cage so not surprising. Wish I could ask her for her review.
