I needed a new cat scratcher - saw KONG NATURALS This board was overwhelmed with cat nip - my cat salivated all over it (ONE AREA WAS COMPLETELY WET) and never scratched on it once. I would only recommend in case you want to have cat pretty overwhelmed and sorta high
Have done Cat Rescue for many years. I have used the cat scratchers for about that amount of time. My cats have always loved them. My "kids" have never been tired of them.
The Kong incline scratcher is wonderful. My cat loves sitting on it and scratching the heck out it but it's not falling to pieces like every other one! Love it
It quickly became obvious that there was a bunch of catnip located in one spot and my cats proceeded to start eating the cardboard scratcher trying to get to the catnip down inside of it, so I had to take it away from them.
My cats loved this as soon as I got it out of the box! It's been a week since we got it and each one takes turns napping on it, playing with it and it has been great having something for them to play with that they love. Highly recommend and the refills are bargain priced too, so what's not to love!
My 2 old cats have been life-long scratchers, and I wish I'd found this a long time ago. Both go at it with vigor and are leaving my couch alone- finally. It would be nice if there was a sticky to hold it in place as it does slide around unless stuck in the right corner.
Still 5 stars bc my cat is truly obsessed, but she doesn’t quite understand that if she fully stood on it, it wouldn’t slide around (it does this regardless of being on carpet or tile/wood). So it would be nice if it had weight to it or an included way to secure it to the floor. But my issue is mostly bc my cat can’t figure it out lol. Absolutely will be buying new inserts when she wears this one out!
My cats scratched the other one done to nothing so I had to replace it. I replenish the catnip at intervals and thy make good use of it
I ordered the double sized scratching pad for my 17 pound cat. He had worn his last one totally to shreds. As always, he was fascinated with the Chewy.com box when it arrived. His interest was heightened as I opened the little packet of catnip. He not only scratches his new pad, several times a day. He also loves to lie on it. I have it placed right next to my couch, for obvious reasons.
Cats will scratch on them occasionally, but still prefer the cat towers and furniture to scratch on. Funny enough, the one kitty in my house that is front declawed tries to scratch on these the most. Still worth the purchase.
