I'd recommend this brand of catnip. I read the review about the bugs n almost ddn't read anymore and then I did, 1st off, Thank You All that takes time to write reviews! I'm super glad that I went ahead an got it. NO BUGS! Catnip itself is like alotta othr catnip, has very few sticks/ stems, personally I prefer that it be more leafy etc., vrs powder n or dust, thats'a hotmess. I hav the gumball machine catnip defuser(avbl at Chewy.com) this catnip works perrrrfect, not as messy as the catnip that came with it(pure dust) this isn't fine or dusty, it's the right sz catnip to shake the gumball machine catnip defuser and tap the toy a lil bit and set bk n enjoy ur FurBabie havg fun, naturally, grown in USA, handled, processed, pkgd and produced here, that also is very imprtnt to me on making the choice to try it, I am a KONG toy fan and hav several dfrnt toys from KONG, i'd recommend this. The Tin is a tight fitting lid(yeahy)the toy was a shiny crinkle ball that was instantly "The Fav Toy" for awhile..but like kitties are, onto their nxt toy n reup'd the toy insde the gumball machine catnip defuser and was a new toy again. I cn't see anythg wrong with this catnip, the texture isn't dust and the Tin is very nice to kno, if it tips over it wn't spill evrywhr. Alwys Inspect Ur FurBabie's Toys Daily an regularly! Specially Their Favorite One's They'll Tear Up Their Toys B4 U Kno It, soo I cn't stress it enuff, Just Inspect Their Toys Daily. p.s s. Also with any catnip, has sticks n stems and can get caught up in their throat etc., so be careful n kno or try removing anythg that'll get stuck in their throat.
Crawling with little bugs!
I ordered this in my last recurring order. I thought Kong's name had a long standing history of quality for dog products. I opened this and started to provide to two of my cats and they were jumping. Upon closer look there were lots of little bugs crawling around in the catnip itself. I quickly got the vacuum and sucked up the two piles. Once clean, i looked in the view hole on the tin and you could even see the bugs crawling around in the lower portion of the tin. SOOOO many bugs. The lid was put back on and the tin was put promptly in the trash. Waste of $$ and will not be buying this brand again. No quality control.
Cats Love it!
This is my second batch. My kitties look forward to a little pinch now and again. I also freshen their toys in the catnip for a fun dessert. Great product!
Supreme Catnip
My kitties love this catnip. They go nuts for it. They recognize the tin the second I pull it out of the Chewy delivery box. Our favorite by far.

I've used this product for many years and with this new order it seems the effects of the catnip are not as long lasting as it used to be. Our 3 cats still enjoy it but they move on to other things more quickly.
